摘要： Systems and methods are disclosed for generating and utilizing photo advertisements (“ads”). In one embodiment, a computer server obtains and stores user-created photo advertisements. Each of the user-created photo advertisements is generated based on a corresponding photo ad template having one or more photo wells such that filler images of one or more participants are inserted into the one or more photo wells. For each user-created photo advertisement, the one or more participants include at least a user by which the photo advertisement was created. In addition, the computer server effects use of the stored user-created photo advertisements as sponsored advertisements.

In one embodiment, a social browsing system processes social crowd requests using social locations collected for users over time. In one embodiment, upon receiving a social crowd request, for each of one or more social locations identified for the social crowd request, the social browsing system identifies a social crowd for the social location. Optionally, the social crowds may be filtered. Social crowd data is generated for the social locations based on user profiles of the users in the corresponding social crowds. In one embodiment, the social crowd data is returned to a user device of a requesting user. In another embodiment, the social browsing system visualizes the social crowd data and returns the visualized social crowd data to the user device of the requesting user for presentation to the requesting user.

摘要： A system and method for collaboratively providing configurations for a media environment are provided. In general, configuration events from a number of media environments are collected and provided to a Collaborative Configuration System (CCS) server. Based on the configuration events, the CCS server generates and provides recommended configurations to a media environment. The recommended configurations may be generated prior to or after receiving a request for recommended configurations from the media environment. In one embodiment, the recommended configurations are provided as a recommended configuration profile providing a set of configurations to be applied at the media environment. In another embodiment, the recommended configurations are provided as a CCS track associated with a particular media presentation. The CCS track includes configuration changes to be applied to the media environment for a number of time slices of the media presentation during playback of the media presentation.
