    • A method and a system for processing an address book are provided. The method includes the following steps. A network address book (NAB) parses a user address book, and generates an acquisition request according to settings of the user address book. The NAB acquires contact information to be updated according to the acquisition request, and updates the user address book. The NAB synchronizes or transmits updated information of the user address book to a piece of user equipment (UE). By using the method, plenty of contact information is acquired according to the user settings. Therefore, the method solves the problems that the address books in the conventional technology have single-purpose functions and closely related to services and thus cannot serve as an independent function for providing services for the user. In addition, address book information on a plurality of UEs of the user can be updated synchronously, so that when one UE initiates address book information update, the address books on other UEs are updated accordingly. Therefore, the consistency between the address book information on the UEs is guaranteed.

    • A heat dissipating device includes a chamber with an evaporation portion and a condensation portion, the chamber including a refrigerant. The chamber further includes an evaporation portion scraping brush provided corresponding to the evaporation portion, the evaporation portion scraping brush being able to sweep relative to an inner surface of the evaporation portion. A refrigerant liquid film is formed on the inner surface of the evaporation portion. Since the fluid refrigerant is uniformly applied to an inner surface of the evaporation portion to form a liquid film, the heat dissipating ability of the heat pipe heat dissipating device is improved, and the heat dissipating uniformity of the heat pipe heat dissipating device is enhanced. A heat dissipating method is also provided.

    • Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, an apparatus, and a proxy server for selecting cache replacement policies to reduce manual participation and switch cache replacement policies automatically. The method includes: obtaining statistical data of multiple cache replacement policies that are running simultaneously; and switching, according to an event of policy decision for cache replacement policies and the statistical data, an active cache replacement policy to a cache replacement policy that complies with a policy decision requirement. The automatic switching of cache replacement policies lowers the technical requirements on administrators. In addition, in the operation process of a proxy cache, a cache replacement policy that is applicable to a current scenario and meets a performance expectation of a user can be selected automatically, so as to make the technical solution feature good adaptability. Compared with the existing solution in which only a cache replacement policy is used throughout, the technical solution of the present invention can improve the performance of the proxy cache.

    • Methods and systems for diffusing non-condensable gas are described. In an embodiment, a gas diffusion apparatus may be used to reduce non-condensable gas located adjacent to a condensation surface of a heat transfer system. The non-condensable gas may impede condensation at the condensation surface. The gas diffusion apparatus may include a plurality of blades arranged around a hub that is perpendicular to the condensation surface. The plurality of blades may rotate in a plane that is parallel or substantially parallel to the condensation surface. As the blades rotate, they generate gas flow that moves the non-condensable gas away from the condensation surface and imparts momentum on the vapor molecules heading toward the condensation surface. The blades may also contact the non-condensable gas layer and push them away from the condensation surface.
