摘要： An organic light-emitting device including a transparent substrate, a first electrode layer, a second electrode layer, a hole-transporting layer, and a electron-transporting layer sandwiched between the first and second electrode layers, wherein the hole-transporting layer consists of organic multiple-quantum-well structure. The multiple-quantum-well structure has a period number of alternating layers formed of a layer of organic material A with wide energy gap and a layer of organic material B with narrow energy gap. Organic material A and organic material B are selected such that the highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) levels of organic material A are lower than those of organic material B and the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (LUMO) levels of organic material A are higher than those of organic material B.

摘要： A power system energy management system with dynamic state estimation (DSE) is disclosed wherein system dynamic states are estimated using SCADA measurements, PMU measurements, signals of controllers, digital recorders, protection devices, and smart electronic devices. The DSE is solved first by Unscented Kalman Filter, and if the Unscented Kalman Filter is failed, weighted lease square is used to solve the DSE. If weighted lease square is failed, integration method is used to calculate the dynamic states. In another aspect, Unscented Kalman Filter, weighted lease square, and integration calculation are applied to solve the DSE by nodal parallel computing for each generation system.

摘要： Provided is a fusion protein comprising circularly permuted form of TRAIL, and the fusion protein contains circularly permuted form of TRAIL and oligopeptides located at the N-terminus and/or C-terminus of the permuted form. The oligopeptides contain a repeating sequence consisting of 3-10 histidines. The components of the circularly permuted form of TRAIL from N-terminus to C-terminus are: (a) amino acids 135-281 of TRAIL, (b) a linker, and (c) amino acids 121-135 of TRAIL or amino acids 114-135 of TRAIL or amino acids 95-135 of TRAIL or any fragments of amino acids 95-135 of TRAIL containing amino acids 121-135 of TRAIL. Also provided is a method for treating cancer by using the fusion protein.

摘要： In a commerce transaction between a buyer and seller that involves transfer of an item, payment is made through an independent online payment system. A seller sends a threshold amount and a payment amount to a payment server for the transaction involving the item. The payment server creates an intermediate account based on the threshold amount and the payment amount. To proceed with the transaction, a buyer transfers a fund amount to the payment server. The payment server determines whether the fund amount is not less than the threshold amount, and if so, the payment server designates the fund amount as an account balance associated with the buyer in the intermediate account. The payment server then transfers funds corresponding to the payment amount from the intermediate account to an account designated by the seller after receiving a payment request indicating the buyer's receipt of the item.

摘要： In accordance with various embodiments, an organic electronic device includes an n-type dopant material including an imidazole-based material having a hydrogen-based material bonded between nitrogen atoms. The n-type dopant material n-dopes an organic material, and can be used to mitigate degradation in mobility due to conditions such as exposure to ambient atmosphere, which can effect an undesirable reduction in charge transport. Other embodiments are directed to carbon nanotubes or graphene structures with this type of n-type dopant, wherein the Fermi level for the carbon nanotubes or graphene structures is below −2.5 eV to effect such n-type doping.
