摘要： An imaging system and method are provided that include a lighting system having an array of light sources, a control system for driving one or more light sources to illuminate for a longer period of time than one or more other light sources, and an image sensor having a field of view for capturing an image of an object within the field of view. The light sources may be divided into annular bands with the control system causing an inner annular band of light sources to be driven to illuminate for a longer period of time than an outer annular band of light sources. Alternatively, the control system may be configured to drive one or more soft light sources to illuminate for a longer period of time than other light sources since the soft light sources produce less light output than the other light sources.

摘要： A method, system and computer program product are provided to permit golf swing conditions, such as spin loft, club speed, angle of attack and club path, to be determined without direct measurements of the club swing and, instead, to be based upon the launch conditions of the ball. Initially, a plurality of launch conditions of a ball may be determined, such as by means of a launch monitor. Based upon the launch conditions of the ball, components of momentum 1 PN normal and tangential to the colliding surfaces of the club and the ball may be determined, such as by means of a computing device. At least one club swing parameter may then be determined based upon the normal and tangential components of momentum PN and PT. In this regard, the club swing condition may be spin loft, club speed, angle of attack and/or club path.

摘要： A system, method and computer program product are provided in which the initial sidespin of a ball is measured such that the resulting flight path of the ball may be simulated more accurately. In this regard, a plurality of initial conditions of the ball, including sidespin, are measured, such as by a sensor including, for example, at least one camera that captures at least two images of the ball. The flight path of the ball is then determined, such as by means of a computing device, based upon the initial conditions including measurement of the ball spin. A representation of the resulting flight path is then created, again typically by means of the computing device.
