摘要： An outboard motor includes a prime mover, a marine propulsion unit having a propeller arranged to be driven by a rotational force of the prime mover to generate a thrust force, a shift position changing mechanism, a shift position changing mechanism actuator, and a control unit arranged to control the shift position changing mechanism actuator. When the shift position is changed to one of the first shift position and the second shift position from the neutral position, the control unit inhibits a change in the shift position to the other one of the first shift position and the second shift position until a predetermined time period elapses. The above arrangement improves the controllability of a boat propulsion system having an electronically controlled shift mechanism.

摘要： A propulsion system for a boat includes propellers arranged to be rotated by an engine, a transmission mechanism arranged to transmit driving force of the engine to the propellers such that a speed of the driving force of the engine is changed at least with a gear reduction ratio for low speed and high speed, and a control unit arranged to output a signal to control a gear shift in the transmission mechanism on the basis of an amount of lever opening, which is based on operation of a control lever section, and speed of the engine, and the control unit being arranged to detect cavitation generated in conjunction with rotation of the propellers on the basis of a gear shift control map. The control unit is arranged to control output of a signal to the transmission mechanism for changing a reduction gear to that for high speed when cavitation is detected.

摘要： An object of the present invention is to provide: a catalyst for production of acrylic acid which is a catalyst usable for production of acrylic acid and is excellent in the catalytic performances such as catalytic activity and in the physical properties such as physical strength of the catalyst itself; and a process for production of acrylic acid using this catalyst. As a means of achieving this object, a catalyst for production of acrylic acid according to the present invention is a catalyst obtained by drying a mixed liquid of starting materials including molybdenum and vanadium as essential components to give a dried material, molding the dried material with a liquid binder, and calcining the resultant molding, with the catalyst being characterized in that an ignition loss ratio of the dried material is from 5 to 40% by mass. A process for production of acrylic acid according to the present invention comprises the step of: subjecting acrolein to a catalytic gas phase oxidation in the presence of a molecular oxygen, with the process being characterized in that the above catalyst for production of acrylic acid according to the present invention is used.

The tubular section has upper, lower and middle bushings. The upper and lower bushings pivotally support the upper and lower portions, respectively. The middle bushing pivotally supports a middle portion of the steering shaft section between the upper and lower portions.

The semiconductor photodetector further includes a converging structure on a light receiving surface of the semiconductor photodetector.

摘要： A cowling assembly for an outboard motor includes a top cowling and a bottom cowling for covering an internal combustion engine for an outboard motor. The top cowling is formed by pressing a nonferrous material.
