摘要： An oil filter system includes an oil filter module and an adapter. The oil filter module includes a detent and an actuator. The adapter includes a protuberance and is configured to be secured to the engine. The oil filter module connects to the adapter when the detent secures to the protuberance as the oil filter module is urged into a connection position with the adapter. The oil filter module disconnects from the adapter when the actuator is actuated, thereby disengaging the detent from the protuberance.

摘要： A charge pump is provided with two independent outlets that can satisfy the pressure requirements of both a charge circuit and an auxiliary circuit. Preferably, the charge pump is a multiple roller vane pump that has at least one inlet and two outlets independent of each other. The first outlet is in fluid communication with a charge circuit, and the second outlet is in fluid communication with an auxiliary circuit. Because the two outlets are independent of each other, the roller vane pump is able to satisfy the pressure requirements of both the charge and auxiliary circuits. Preferably, the two outlets are diametrically opposed to each other, thereby reducing the load on the driveshaft. Additionally, the roller vane pump may include a second inlet independent of the first.

摘要： An athermal package for fiber photonic devices includes a ferrule to attach the optical fiber to the package. The ferrule has an opening to receive the optical fiber. The ferule is collapsed to attach the optical fiber to the athermal package. Alternatively, the athermal package uses adhesive bonds disposed in pockets of the package. The pockets have a narrow end and a wide end, with the narrow ends facing each other. The adhesive bonds are disposed in the pockets in contact the narrow ends of the pockets but not with the wide ends. The narrow ends physically confine the adhesive bonds so that if the bonds expand or contract due to environmental conditions (or the curing process), the adhesive either expands or contracts near the wide ends of the pockets. This allows the strain on the optical fiber segment between the bonds to remain substantially constant.
