    • The present invention proposes a method for multi-site multi-user joint transmission, the method comprising: measuring, by a user terminal, a downlink channel originated from each base station; according to the measurement for the downlink channel, quantizing and obtaining, by the user terminal, per-site channel information for the each base station and additional inter-site channel information, the additional inter-site channel information being used for calculating joint channel information of multiple base stations; and feeding back, by the user terminal, the per-site channel information for the each base station and the additional inter-site channel information so that the base station performs scheduling to execute the multi-site multi-user joint transmission.

    • Embodiments of the present invention generally relate to a method and system of channel feedback in wireless communications. Specifically, according to embodiments of the present invention, there is provided a two-stage Co MP feedback mechanism, such that different types of channel feedback are transmitted in each stage. Specifically, during the first stage, information regarding long-term features and/or wideband features of a channel is fed back; while during the second stage, information regarding short-term features and/or narrow features of channel is fed back. The first stage and the second stage may be periodically repeated. The information fed back during the first and second stages are used to calculate feedback information characterizing a joint-channel feature. In this way, overheads associated with channel feedback may be effectively reduced. Corresponding methods and apparatuses are also disclosed.

    • A tripod head comprises a mount and an angle adjustment mechanism for adjusting and locking the angle of the mount with respect to a tripod. The mechanism comprises an elongated handle. The handle is adapted to rotate around its longitudinal axis to lock the angle of the mechanism when rotated in one direction and unlock the angle of the mechanism when rotated in the other direction. The handle comprises a proximal portion and a distal portion. The distal portion is attached at a pivot point whereby the distal portion can pivot between an operative position in line with the proximal portion and a storage position generally perpendicular to the proximal portion. The handle further comprises a locking device for releasably locking the distal portion in the operative position.
