    • A flat light source having a main region and an edge region around the main region is provided. The flat light source includes a first substrate, first electrodes, dielectric patterns, a phosphor layer, first phosphor patterns, a second substrate, and a sealant. The first electrodes are disposed on the first substrate and arranged within the main region and the edge region. The dielectric patterns cover the first electrodes. The phosphor layer is disposed between the dielectric patterns in the main region and the edge region. The first phosphor patterns are disposed on the phosphor layer within the edge region. The second substrate is disposed above the first substrate, and the sealant is formed out of the edge region between the first and second substrates so as to bond the two substrates.

    • A planar light source including a first substrate, a second substrate, a sealant, first electrodes, sets of first dielectric patterns, a phosphor layer, and a discharge gas is provided. The second substrate is disposed above the first substrate. The sealant is disposed between the first and second substrates to form a cavity among the first substrate, the second substrate, and the sealant. The first electrodes are disposed on the first substrate, and each set of the first dielectric patterns has at least two first striped dielectric patterns. Each of the first striped dielectric patterns covers one of the first electrodes correspondingly. The edges of the top of each first striped dielectric pattern are raised in a peak shape. The phosphor layer is disposed on the first substrate and between the first striped dielectric patterns of each set of the first dielectric patterns. The discharge gas is injected into the cavity.

    • The present invention provides a flat fluorescent lamp (FFL), including a first substrate, a second substrate, a discharging gas, an electrode set, a dielectric layer and a fluorescent material. The first substrate has at least a first cavity and the second substrate has at least a second cavity. The first substrate and the second substrate are oppositely connected to each other, thus allowing the first cavity together with the second cavity define a discharging space thereby. The discharging gas, the fluorescent material and the electrode set are all disposed in the discharging space. The electrode set is interposed between the first cavity and the second cavity and is adapted for providing a discharging electric field mostly distributed in the discharging space defined therein. In addition, a liquid crystal display (LCD) device using such an FFL is also proposed.

    • A resistive touch device with no visual color difference comprises a first transparent conductive substrate, a second transparent conductive substrate and a spacer layer. The first transparent conductive substrate with a bottom thereof has a plurality of first transparent conductive electrodes, and a first voltage difference in a first direction. The second transparent conductive substrate with a top thereof has a plurality of second transparent conductive electrodes, and a second voltage difference in a second direction. The first direction is perpendicular to the second direction. The spacer layer is formed between the first and second transparent conductive substrates, which is used for isolating the first transparent conductive electrode and the second transparent conductive electrode. The first transparent conductive electrodes are configured to comply with certain specifications included a differential value of Euclidean distance, a yellow/blue differential value in a color space, or dimensions between each adjacent electrodes.
