    • An information processing device includes: an output device configured to perform notification to a user by outputting ringing sound; a sound pickup device configured to pick up surrounding sound as ambient sound; an adaptive filtering process device configured to perform an adaptive filtering process using the picked-up ambient sound and the ringing sound output from the output device, to thereby extract, from the ambient sound, estimated environmental sound from which the ringing sound picked up by the sound pickup device has been removed; and a control device configured to control, on the basis of the feature quantity of a predetermined feature extracted from the estimated environmental sound, the adjustment of at least one of the sound volume and the sound quality of the ringing sound.

    • An earplug unit includes a signal processing unit. The earplug unit is inserted into an external auditory canal and then used. In the earplug unit, a speaker is arranged at an eardrum side, and a microphone is arranged at a side opposite to the eardrum side.     • A music piece reproducing apparatus has: a sound collecting unit collecting noise data of an ambient environment; an analyzing unit performing a frequency analysis to the noise data collected by the sound collecting unit and extracting a feature amount showing a feature of the noise data; a noise parameter database classifying the noise data every environment; and a reproducing unit reproducing music piece data which has been recorded in a recording medium and classified every category, wherein the analyzing unit classifies the noise data with reference to the noise parameter database on the basis of the extracted feature amount of the noise data, selects the previously-corresponded category of music pieces in accordance with a classification result of the noise data, and selects predetermined music piece data from music piece data classified into the selected category.
