摘要： An electrical socket assembly includes an insulating body, a plurality of first terminals, and a plurality of second terminals. The insulating body has first terminal grooves formed on a lower side thereof, and second terminal grooves formed on an upper side thereof. The first terminals are respectively positioned in the first terminal grooves for transmitting non-USB-compliant signals, and the second terminals are respectively positioned in the second terminal grooves for transmitting and receiving USB-compliant signals. The electrical socket assembly may be coupled with a standard USB plug connector for transmission of the USB-compliant signals, and with another plug connector for transmission of the non-USB-compliant signals.

摘要： An electronic card connector includes a slider operable between a card-inserting mode and a card-releasing mode, and a positioning mechanism. The positioning mechanism includes a positioning member, a biasing element, and a second engaging element. The positioning member has a first sliding face, a second sliding face cooperating therewith to define a first corner with the first sliding face, and a first engaging element. In the card-inserting mode, operation of the slider results in relative movement between the second engaging element and the positioning member along a first path such that the second engaging element abuts against and slides along the first sliding face by the urging action of the biasing element, and turns around the first corner to engage releasably the first engaging element.

摘要： An electrical connector includes a mounting block and a plurality of unitary terminal pieces. The mounting block has a base portion and a projecting portion extending from the base and through an opening unit in an assembly of a flexible printed board and an insulating seat. Each terminal piece has a contact section extending into a receiving slot in the base portion and in electrical contact with a conductive contact of the printed board, and an anchoring section extending through the opening unit and a positioning groove in the projecting portion and having a free end extending toward the contact section. As such, the printed board, the insulating seat and the projecting portion are clamped between the contact section and the anchoring section of each terminal piece.
