摘要： A form has detachable labels and one or more wristbands. The wristband includes detachable labels. The form has a printable face sheet with first and second major surfaces. A pressure sensitive adhesive is provided on at least a portion of one surface of the face sheet. The form includes a liner ply having first and second major surfaces, and a release coating on at least a portion of one surface thereof. The face sheet includes first and second adjacent portions, with the first portion of the face sheet being die cut to form one or more a detachable wristbands. The liner ply is adhered to the pressure sensitive adhesive on the first and second portions of the face sheet. The wristband or wristbands include a plurality of labels carrying a pressure sensitive adhesive. The labels are printed with information so that they can be removed from the wristband and applied to forms, containers, and the like.

摘要： A method and system for providing location based services (LBSs) to a mobile-subscriber terminal (MST) roaming in a serving network is provided. A location based service provider (LBSP) that is outside of the serving network receives from the serving system an MST-initiated request for LBSs and an identifier of a first location system (LS1) that is associated with the serving network. Responsive to the MST-initiated request, the LBSP sends to a second location system (LS2) (i) a request for mobile positioning information (MPI) for the MST, and (ii) the identifier. Using the identifier, the LS2 addresses and sends the request for MPI to the LS1. Responsively, the LS1 populates a shared database with the MPI. The LS2 retrieves the MPI from the shared database and sends it to the LBSP. The LBSP sends to the MST a reply to the MST-initiated request for LBSs.

摘要： Disclosed herein is a computer-implemented method for interfacing with a resident application of a computer system. Upon receipt of a data file in a background space of the computer system, a user interface having plural command interfaces is generated. By selecting a first one of the plural command interfaces, an instruction is issued to the resident application. If a first one of the command interfaces is selected, the data file is transferred to a foreground space of the computer system and opened. Conversely, by selecting a second one of the plural command interfaces, the data file is deleted without opening or transfer to the foreground space.

摘要： The flow machine is furnished with an abradable (10) made of a particle composite material. This so-called composite (1) contains granular core particles (2) of a ceramic material. The surfaces (20) of the granular core particles carry functional layers (22) which form an intermediate phase of the composite which is stable at a high operating temperature. The intermediate phase in this process has been produced in situ at least in part by a chemical reaction of a precursor material (22′) and material (21) of the granular core particles on the particle surfaces (20). Bonds (23) are formed between the granular core particles arranged in a porous composite by the intermediate phase. These bonds have a breaking characteristic for abradables.

The valve stem extends externally of the valve housing for engagement by a valve handle used to manipulate the valve member between open and closed positions. The valve is formed with a plurality of circumferentially spaced concave splines extending longitudinally on the outer surface of the valve stem. The splines are spaced so as to maximize transmission of rotational torque while minimizing flexure and twisting of the valve stem. The spacing and configuration of the individual splines also ensure a strong mating fit with the valve handle.

摘要： A fishing lure includes a thicker head portion which receives a hook and a thinner tail portion which has a width to thickness (height) ratio of at least two to one. The head and tail portions are integrally molded from a soft, flexible material such as plastic with shape-retaining properties, with a portion of the tail nearest the head extending through at least a one hundred and eighty degree curve such that the tail will curve or coil over the head (in a plane that is perpendicular to the width) when the lure is not being pulled through the water. In a preferred embodiment, the fishing lure is formed as a coil which traverses at least one complete turn. The shape-retaining plastic preferably has a lower specific gravity than water to give the lure excellent floatation characteristics.
