    • A communication path switching system including a wireless base station having a function of wireless communication with a mobile station and a function of relaying data transmitted from the mobile station over a wireless communication path; and plural transmission apparatuses having a function of wired communication with the wireless base station and capable of establishing respectively a wired communication path to be used to relay the data transmitted from a mobile station toward another mobile station. One wired communication path from the wireless base station to one transmission apparatus is switched to another wired communication path from the wireless base station to another transmission apparatus without re-establishing a wireless communication path between the mobile station and the wireless base station.

    • A downlink packet scheduling method is disclosed for a shared channel or a common channel in a mobile communication system between a base station and a mobile station, the method including a step in which the base station determines whether there is a waiting packet to be transmitted to the mobile station other than a current transmission packet; a step in which when it is determined that there is no waiting packet to be transmitted, the base station sets a stop period “t” in which packet transmission is temporarily stopped after the current packet transmission; a step in which the base station transmits information indicating the stop period “t” through a schedule information channel transmitting schedule information of downlink packets; and a step in which the base station stops the packet transmission to the mobile station during the stop period “t” after the current packet transmission.

    • An inkjet head for ejecting ink droplets is disclosed which includes: a nozzle unit having metal thin plates and a piezoelectric device, adapted to eject the ink droplets; a printed circuit board supplying to the piezoelectric device a drive signal for causing the nozzle unit to eject the ink droplets; a support supporting the nozzle unit and the printed circuit board in opposing relationship to each other; an earth contact disposed on the nozzle unit; a ground contact disposed on the printed circuit board, held at a reference potential; an electrically conductive elastic member disposed between the earth and ground contacts, such that portions of the elastic member are in electrical contact with the earth and ground contacts, respectively; and a movement limiter limiting movement of the elastic member to thereby prevent the elastic member from being disengaged from the earth and ground contacts.

    • An ink-jet head has a flexible printed circuit and a head main body, and further has a reinforcement that is located between drive-signal terminals arranged adjacent to one another and a constant-potential-signal terminal. The drive-signal terminals and the constant-potential-signal terminal are formed on a terminal-formed face of an energy applier included in the head main body. The flexible printed circuit has an electrode-formed face on which a constant-potential-signal electrode to be bonded to the constant-potential-signal terminal with a metal bond and drive-signal electrodes to be bonded to the drive-signal terminals with a metal bond. The reinforcement is in contact with and interposed between the terminal-formed face and the electrode-formed face so that the terminal-formed face and the electrode-formed face are spaced apart from each other.
