摘要： A method for data streaming in an ad-hoc wireless local area network (LAN). The method for data streaming includes receiving at least one streaming request frame that requests transmission of streaming data to at least one station, and transmitting frames containing the streaming data to at least one station with Short InterFrame Space (SIFS) interval. Streaming data is reliably transmitted in an ad-hoc wireless LAN without greatly changing existing wireless LAN standards.

摘要： Provided are a routing table generating method, a data transmission method, and a routing route formation method for multi-hop communication in high rate wireless personal networks. In a high rate WPAN environment including a plurality of piconets, a piconet controller (PNC), which performs a topology server function to provide the optimal route, collects link state information from the PNCs or DEVs (devices) belonging to a sub-tree that serves as a root and applies a minimum cost algorithm based on the collected link state information to calculate the optimal route for all pairs of originations and destinations existing within the sub-tree in consideration of QoS. The optimal route information is transmitted to the origination PNC via the destination PNC/DEV. During performing this, the optimal route between the pairs of originations and destinations is set.

摘要： A resource allocation method for performing resource competition between protocols based on a protocol in a home network environment using multiple protocols is provided. In the resource allocation method, a request of using a resource is received from an external device. An AIFS value is allocated according to a data type of the resource requested from the device. Then, the resource is not provided to the device for an AIFS period. After passing the period of the AIFS value, a back-off timer period is entered. In the back-off timer period, an application protocol of the external device requesting the resource is identified, and an idle time value is allocated according to a type of the identified protocol. Then, a corresponding resource is provided to the first device coming out of the allocated idle time.

The wireless network communication method of the present invention including transmitting/receiving data among stations supporting a direct link, during a given duration, through the direct link using an independent channel; transmitting/receiving data among stations other than the stations supporting the direct link, during the duration, in a specific mode corresponding to the contention-free or contention period; switching the DLP stations to a primary channel after the given duration; and transmitting/receiving data among all stations including the DLP stations, during the remaining duration, in a specific mode corresponding to the contention-free or contention period.
