    • An adjustable pedal assembly includes a mounting arrangement (1) for attachment to a vehicle structure (37), an accelerator pedal (6), a brake pedal (7), and a clutch pedal (8). The pedals (6, 7, 8) are pivotally supported with respect to the mounting arrangement (1) and define a first pivot axis (9). An adjustment element (5) is pivotally supported with respect to the mounting structure (1) and defines a second pivot axis (4). The adjustment element (5) selectively moves the pedals (6, 7, 8) between a plurality of operable positions. The adjustable pedal assembly is characterized by the pedals (6, 7, 8) being pivotally supported with respect to the adjustment element (5) wherein the second pivot axis (4) is generally parallel to the first pivot axis (9). A driving mechanism with an electric motor (11) and gear assembly (12) is used to rotate the adjustment element (5) about the second pivot axis (4). The pedals (6, 7, 8) are pivotally mounted within the adjustment element (5) to pivot about the first pivot axis (9), thus the first pivot axis (9) moves with respect to the second pivot axis (4) when the adjustment element (5) is rotated.

    • A system, method, and owner node for securely changing a mobile device from an old owner to a new owner, or from an old operator network to a new operator network. The old owner initiates the change of owner or operator. The old owner or operator then commands the mobile device to change a currently active first key to a second key. The second key is then transferred to the new owner or operator. The new owner or operator then commands the mobile device to change the second key to a third key for use between the mobile device and the new owner or operator. Upon completion of the change, the new owner or operator does not know the first key in use before the change, and the old owner does not know the third key in use after the change.

    • According to a first aspect of the present invention there is provided a method of at least partly delegating processing of data in a machine-to-machine system to reduce computational load on a broker entity 11 while maintaining security of the data to be processed, the broker entity 11 serving as a link between a node 13 of a sensor network providing the data and an application node 12 requesting the data. In the method, at the broker entity 11, following receipt of a request for processed data from the application node 12, determining the node to provide the data to be processed, generating a data key for the data-providing node 13, generating a data-processing algorithm for processing the data in dependence upon the request, sending the data key to the data-providing node 13, and sending the data key and data-processing algorithm to a remote data-processing entity 15. At the data-providing node 13, encrypting the data using the data key and sending the encrypted data to the data-processing entity 15. At the data-processing entity 15, decrypting the data using the data key, processing the data using the data-processing algorithm, and sending the processed data to the application node 12.

    • The present invention involves establishing a top-level key and optionally also a verification tag. The top-level key is used as the MDP key for encrypting a broadcast medium. Only the part of the key message that contains the encrypted top-level key is authenticated, e.g. using a signature or a Message Access Code (MAC). Any known group-key distribution protocol can be used that is based on the creation of a hierarchy of keys. Examples of such methods are the LKH and SD methods. The group-key distribution protocol output key H, traditionally used as the MDP key, or a derivative thereof is used to encrypt the top-level MDP-key. The invention, further, includes optimization of a group-key message by eliminating unnecessary message components relative a specified group or sub-group of users. The optimization can be made in dependence of contextual data such as user profile, network status, or operator policies.
