    • The disclosure provides a method for identifying a storage device, which includes: obtaining, by a master control server, disk information of a storage device through a storage server; determining, by the master control server, that there is a storage device matching a device identifier according to the disk information, and entering a monitoring state; otherwise, creating a device identifier for the storage device and entering the monitoring state. The disclosure also provides a system for identifying a storage device. Through the method and the system, the storage devices are uniformly identified so as to facilitate unified management of the storage devices.

    • A fan module includes a heat transfer unit, a heat radiation unit, and at least one cross-flow fan. The heat radiation unit has an air-in side and an air-out side. The cross-flow fan is located against the heat radiation unit, and includes a frame and a centrifugal fan blade assembly. The frame has an air outlet, a plurality of air inlets, and a plurality of frame sections. The frame sections respectively have a receiving recess therein, and the receiving recesses are communicable with one another to together define a receiving space for receiving the centrifugal fan blade assembly therein. With the above arrangements, the cross-flow fan can create increased air flow volume, the space occupied by the fan module can be reduced, and upgraded heat dissipation performance can be achieved.

    • A memo block in the present invention is composed by a pile of notepapers. In a proper section near the fore edge of each notepaper, the memo block is provided with predetermined designs or advertisement. The fore surface of the memo block is cut by a predetermined mode from the first page to the bottom page so as to form a wavy surface, and then the fore surface is pushed backward by a paper-regulating machine to form a proper slope. Upon forming the fore surface with a slope, the rear surface of the memo block is also formed with a slope same as that of the fore surface. The rear outward slope is cut off to be a vertical plane surface, and then the rear plane surface is glued to form a spine. Thus, the designs or advertisement of the memo block can gradually change paper by paper and have genuinely vivid and solid advertising effects because of the wavy and oblique fore surface.

    • A thermal module includes a heat radiating unit, a heat transfer unit, and at least one cross-flow fan. The heat radiating unit has an air inlet and an air outlet that communicate with each other. The heat transfer unit has a heat absorbing section attached to a heat source and a heat dissipating section extended from the heat absorbing section to connect to the heat radiating unit. The cross-flow fan is arranged opposite to the heat radiating unit with an air-out side of the cross-flow fan located adjoining to the air inlet of the heat radiating unit. With the above arrangements, the thermal module occupies a largely reduced area while providing largely upgraded heat dissipation effect.
