摘要： A table includes a round table top defining an unobstructed open slot that extends inwardly about halfway from a perimeter of the table top. The slot is shaped to receive a freestanding article of furniture slid horizontally into the slot, such as a screen, a partition panel, a leg of another table, or the like. The table top is pivoted to the base by links that are mechanically moveable over-center to a locking position when the table top is moved to a use position. A handle is formed as part of one of the links to assist with the over-center movement. The base is adapted to nest against similar bases for compact storage, and includes two feet with low-height flat ends that lie close to a floor surface so that they do not objectionably interfere with mating furniture nor with a person's feet when using the table.

摘要： A rate-responsive dual-chamber pacemaker and pacing method for supporting the heart with electrical stimulation at a pacing rate driven by the heart's sinus node or, alternatively, by a sensor adapted to determine the patient's metabolic demand (a metabolic demand indicator). The pacemaker automatically selects between the indicated rates to determine the best pacing rate for appropriately satisfying metabolic demand at all times. The natural rate, driven by the sinus node, takes precedence over the metabolic indicator rate provided the natural rate meets a standard determined by the metabolic demand indicator rate. The pacemaker upper rate response mechanism allows atrioventricular synchrony at natural sinus rates ranging from low rates to high exercise rates, even up to the programmed maximum rate, but maintains ventricular rate stability during pathological atrial tachycardias by reverting to pacing in a rate-responsive VVI mode.

摘要： An office furniture unit has an outer face with slotted hangers, and a removable storage unit assembly including a bottom panel positioned in a generally horizontal orientation along the office furniture unit, and a top panel disposed above and generally parallel with the bottom panel. First and second panels are disposed at opposite ends of the top and bottom panels and are connected therewith to define a rigid, box-shaped case having an open back portion. The first and second end panels have rear portions with multiple vertically spaced slots. First and second hanger brackets have a rear portion with first hooks selectively received in the slotted hangers of the office furniture units, and a forward portion with second hooks selectively received in the slots in the rear portions of the first and second end panels to detachably support the case against the outer face of the office furniture unit.
