    • The invention relates to a rotary seal chuck of an optical fiber preform rod deposition lathe, comprising a fixed socket sleeve and a rotary shaft. The fixed socket sleeve is provided with a central hole base. The central hole base bears the rotary shaft through a bearing. An end of the central hole base is connected to an air hose. The rotary shaft is a hollow rotary shaft provided with a through hole. One end of the through hole communicates with the air hose, and the other end of the through hole is provided with a liner tube connecting sealing hole base. A magnetic fluid seal ring is disposed at a joint between an inner side of the rotary shaft and the central hole base of the fixed socket sleeve, to form a rotary dynamic seal. An outer side of the rotary shaft is connected to a rotary driving disk.

    • A method of decoding audio data, encoded in multiple DIF blocks in a Digital Video (DV) data stream, and outputting said audio data as a PCM frame, includes fetching a single Digital Interface Frame (DIF) block from the DV data stream. A first byte in the single DIF block is de-shuffled to determine its index (n) in the PCM frame. Each byte in the in the single DIF block is de-shuffled to determine its respective index (n) in the PCM frame. The de-shuffled data is written into the PCM frame for output if the present DIF block is the last in the present DV frame. Subsequent DIF blocks in the DV frame are processed in the manner described above.

    • Polyphase sequence generation is provided for sequences having good aperiodic correlation properties. The sequences can allow lengths not attainable by other types of sequences (such as Frank sequences) and can yield increase merit factors and more desirable peak-to-side-peak ratios (and therefore decreased sidelobe energy) than other sequences (such as Chu sequences). Perfect root-of-unity sequences of lengths up to 32, achieving the minimum phase alphabets and the maximum merit factors and/or peak-to-side-peak ratios, are searched, and the results are tabulated. Comparing the merit factors and peak-to-side-peak ratios of the best search results to other sequences, a common construction pattern of the improved sequences of length 2m2 are obtained. The improved sequences can be utilized in a variety of configurations, including spread spectrum communication, radar, channel estimation, system identification, and/or the like.

    • The present invention provides an audio streaming system and method for transmitting audio signals with high quality. The advantages of the present invention include easy implementation, computational efficiency, and provision of better audio quality. More particularly, the present invention provides a Multi-band Time Expansion algorithm for lost packet concealment. The Multi-band Time Expansion algorithm detects the number of continuously lost packets in an audio input signal and the correctly received packets on either side of the lost packets. Then the Multi-band Time Expansion algorithm time-expands the correctly received packets that may be from either one side or both sides of the lost packets, wherein the correctly received packets are stretched to cover the length of the lost packets. Finally the Multi-band Time Expansion algorithm overlap-adds the stretched packets so that the lost packets are concealed.
