    • An image processing apparatus having a flat flexible cable with adjusted configuration for obtaining digital image data of an object is provided. The image processing apparatus includes: a casing; a carriage module disposed in the casing and movable relative to the object for picking up and converting image of the object into the digital image data; a flat flexible cable having a first end fixed at a certain location of the casing and a second end coupled to and movable with the carriage module for transmitting the digital image data from the carriage module; and a cable-adjusting device coupled to and movable with the flat flexible cable when the second end of the flat flexible cable moves with the carriage module, and having a length varying with a configuration of the flat flexible cable so as to keep stretching the flat flexible cable.

    • The present invention relates to a scanning apparatus with different resolutions. The scanning apparatus includes a casing, a scanning module, a reflective module, a first lens, a second lens, a first sensing element, a second sensing element and a main reflective mirror. The first lens and the first sensing element have a first resolution and are used for scanning a first-sized document. The second lens and the second sensing element have a second resolution and are used for scanning a second-sized document. The main reflective mirror arranged between the first sensing element and the second sensing element for preventing interference of the first sensing element with the second sensing element.

    • An optical scanner for scanning a document includes a housing, a glass platform, an optical scanning module and a heat dissipating member. The glass platform is disposed on the housing for placing thereon the document to be scanned. The optical scanning module is disposed inside the housing for scanning the document. The heat dissipating member is disposed inside the housing and in contact with a first lateral edge of the glass platform for conducting the heat generated from the optical scanning module to the glass platform such that the heat is then radiated from the glass platform to the outside of the housing.
