    • Provided is a method for processing received signal by applying channel status information based on OFDM. The method applies CSI to a soft-decided signal and thus can more enhance performance than a method applied to a typical decoder even without using an additional memory and the increase of a clock speed. The method appropriately perform adjustment suitable for a soft-decided and received signal in applying pre-estimated CSI to a decoder, thereby more enhancing performance and enabling adaptive application based on the change of a channel status. The method includes performing a first operation of calculating a new second Channel Status Information (CSI) value CSINEW for enhancing reliability of a received first CSI CSIRECEIVED, and applying a weight value to the calculated new second CSI value CSINEW to calculate a third CSI value CSIWEIGHTED; performing a second operation of applying the third CSI value CSIWEIGHTED having the weight value to a first soft-decision value SSOFTDECISION of an actually-received signal to calculate a second soft-decision value SSOFTDECISION+CSI adjusted; and performing a third operation of restrictedly controlling an output range of the calculated second soft-decision value SSOFTDECISION+CSI to finally obtain a third soft-decision value SSOFTDECISION+CSI—Bounded calculated.

    • Provided are an optical coupler and an active optical module including the same. The optical coupler includes at least one first optical fiber, a second optical fiber, and a hollow optical block. The at least one first optical fiber transfers pump light. The second optical fiber includes a cladding with a facet enlarged from a first outer diameter to a second outer diameter, and passes the pump light which is transferred through the first optical fiber. The hollow optical block includes a through hole, an incident surface, and a coupling surface. The through hole passes the cladding with the first outer diameter. The incident surface is connected to the first optical fiber at a side end of the through hole. The coupling surface is joined to the facet of the second optical fiber at the other side end of the through hole facing the incident surface.
