    • The manifold hydrogen generator units for automotive I. C. engines are intended to provide a supplementary hydrogen fuel supply for conventional automotive I. C. engines, in addition to any primary fuel including gasoline, gasohol or hydrogen.The hydrogen is produced in a three stage process starting with the conversion of water to steam by means of multiple coils of copper tubing closely fitted to the exhaust manifold(s) of the I. C. engine. The steam is directed into one or two reactor cylinders containing rotating wire brushes axially disposed within the reactor cylinder(s) which remove a portion of the oxygen through progressive oxidation of the iron wire brushes. Periodic forced purging of the wire brushes is provided by combined aeration and vibrating of the rotating brushes.A final reforming stage of the partially reformed steam/hydrogen flow is obtained by steel wool packs which are periodically replaced.

    • The variable speed condensing steam turbine is a simplified and effective steam expander which is built mainly of simple, low-cost sheet metal parts and is designed to provide a variable speed/torque output range.The turbine concept is based on the past Tesla turbine principle of equally spaced rotor discs to provide a long helical path for steam expansion with high operating efficiency and minimum friction. Unlike the cylindrical Tesla turbine this unit is in conical form with uniformly varying diameter discs used to provide a variable speed/torque power output range.A further purpose of having a uniform conical housing and uniformly increasing diameter discs is to achieve maximum steam expansion which will lead to rapid steam condensation, or a precondensation condition for the expended steam passing through the conical turbine.A fuel conservation feature of the condensing turbine is a provision for separating hydrogen gas from a portion of the expanded/expended steam which will be conducted to the external fuel burner of the vapor generator, as part of the complete power system.

    • The solar power system with high concentration linear reflective solar panels of the linear parabolic type is intended to increase the electrical power output from conventional silicon solar cells, and heat water for steam power.Circular parabolic reflectors have been used for this purpose but there are not as flexible in application as the linear parabolic reflectors (L. P. R.'s).The solar power system may be arranged as an all electric type using continuous lines of silicon solar cells located at the apex or focal zone of the parabola, or may be designed as a dual solar conversion system with both solar photoelectric means and a water heating steam means, as an indirect or secondary power source.The key feature of the system is the geometric configuration of the linear parabolic reflectors (L. P. R.'s), with an unusually high reflective concentration ratio of 10:1 minimum, plus boosters, and the connection of these pivoted linear panels to a common oscillating linkage and timing unit for full sun following capability to maintain optimum direct solar exposure each day.

    • The magnetic torque multiplier consists of two basic components --one large flat wheel containing two opposite and off-set pole series of equally spaced rare earth/cobalt permanent magnets. The top series of permanent magnets--(N), are attractors, while the lower series--(S) are repellers, relative to corresponding magnet segments on the driving rotor.The second component is the driving helical magnetic path rotor which has an "hourglass" or matching contour configuration with identical rare earth/cobalt permanent magnets equally spaced in a peripheral helical pattern around the driving rotor.Both the driving rotor and driven wheel must be made of non-magnetic material, preferably aluminum and arranged as a non-contacting/-zero friction mechanical worm and worm wheel. A useful torque multiplication occurs at the wheel output shaft relative to the driving rotor input shaft, well above the normal torque step-up ratio--between the two components.
