    • A socket with a protecting device is disclosed. The socket with a protecting device comprises a socket unit having a surface with plural electrode holes and a pivot hole thereon, and a protecting device disposed on the surface of the socket unit for protecting the plural electrode holes of the socket unit. The protecting device comprises plural openings corresponding to the plural electrode holes of the socket unit and a rotating portion to be plugged into the pivot hole of the socket unit. Thereby the protecting device rotates relatively to the surface of the socket unit for aligning or staggering the plural openings and the plural electrode holes to render the socket in an open or a closed status.

    • The disclosure provides a Femtocell network system coexistent with a universal mobile telecommunication system (UMTS) network and the deadzone effect alleviating method thereof. For each femto access point (FAP) in the Femtocell network system, a minimum transmission power is pre-configured. When an inadmissible user equipment (UE) performs a location update or a handoff process to obtain the access right to a closed FAP, at least a FAP gateway may estimate the probable existence of deadzone via the UE location update or handoff procedure. Before the inadmissible UE reaches the deadzone of the closed FAP, the transmission power of the closed FAP is decreased repeatedly to allow the inadmissible UE to receive the signals and messages from the UMTS network, until the closed FAP reaches a threshold of its minimum transmission power.

    • A movable terminal connecting mechanism of an electrical appliance includes a support part, a carrier part and a first terminal block. The support part is fixed within a frame body of the electrical appliance and includes at least one first retaining structure. The carrier part includes at least one second retaining structure corresponding to the first retaining structure. The carrier part is moved with respect to the support part when the second retaining structure is moved with respect to the first retaining structure. The first terminal block is fixed on the carrier part to be coupled with an external cable. The first terminal block is either partially exposed outside the entrance of the frame body to implement a wiring task of wiring the first terminal block with the external cable, or stored in a receptacle of the frame body.
