    • A clip (40) for securing a heat sink (20) to an electronic device (35) includes a body (42) and a fastener (44) slidably attached to the body. The body has a central pressing portion (46), a pair of legs(54, 56) extending downwardly at opposite ends of the body, and a fixing plate (66) depending away from one side edge of the pressing portion. Bent tabs (68, 69) extend from opposite upper and lower edges of the fixing plate, thereby defining a receiving space for receiving the fastener therein. A pressing tab (62) depends from an edge of the pressing portion opposite to the fixing plate. The fastener defines a slot (76) therein, for engaging a projection (18) of a retention module (10). The clip thereby secures the heat sink to the electronic device.

    • A cerium based particle composition comprises: 50-90% by weight of cerium oxide, and at least 10% by weight of lanthanum oxide. The method to prepare the particle composition comprises: one or more water soluble salts of transition metal elements and/or alkaline metal elements are mixed with CeLaCl3 solution; the mixed solution is precipitated with carbonate(s) and/or hydroxide(s) to obtain rare earth carbonate(s) doped by said one or more transition metal elements and/or alkaline metal elements; the carbonate(s) is calcined and crushed to obtain the said particle composition. The said composition can be mixed with water, optionally at the presence of additive(s), in order to obtain an abrasive for polishing glass for liquid crystal display and hard recording medium, particularly in the use of polishing glass substrate industry.

    • A heat sink assembly includes a heat sink (60), a fan (20) and a fixing device (70). The heat sink has a plurality of fins (64). The outermost fins define catches (66). The fixing device includes an upper portion (10) and a lower portion (30). The upper and lower portions respectively define upper and lower openings (14, 36) providing air flow access for the fan. A pole (18) depends from each comer of the upper portion. The fan has first through holes (22) for extension of the poles therethrough. A pair of latches (38) extends upwardly from the lower portion, for engaging with the upper portion. The upper portion defines two cutouts (16) in communication with the upper opening, for receiving the latches. A side wall (50) depends from each of two opposite sides of the lower portion. Each side wall defines two recess (54) at respective opposite ends thereof. A barb (52) is formed at each opposite end of each side wall, for engaging with the corresponding catch of the heat sink.
