摘要： A touch panel control circuit includes a plurality of drive circuits which are connected to Y sensor electrodes, respectively, and which apply a plurality of pulses to a corresponding Y sensor electrode for every predetermined period, and a plurality of detection circuits which are connected to X sensor electrodes, respectively. Each of the detection circuits includes a switched capacitor circuit that continues sampling of a signal from each of the X sensor electrodes, to which the detection circuits are connected, not only at a timing that is in synchronization with the plurality of pulses that are applied to the Y sensor electrodes, but also at a timing at which the pulses are not applied to the Y sensor electrodes. For example, the switched capacitor circuit is an integration circuit, or an integration circuit with a finite impulse response (FIR) filter or an infinite impulse response (IIR) filter.

摘要： Embodiments herein include a device, system, and method for periodically capturing sensing signals using one or more detection electrodes to generate data for detecting an object proximate to the detection electrodes. The sensing signals are captured during detection periods within periodic detection cycles where each of the detection cycles define a period of time between consecutive detection periods. In addition, the device, system and method set a duration of the detection cycle to 1/m (where m is appositive integer) of a duration of a display-scan cycle. The value of m is selected based on a periodic noise signal. Thus, the device, system, and method may prevent a periodic noise signal which has a cycle that is longer than the detection period from worsening the accuracy of touch detection.

For example, the touch detecting circuit has a configuration which includes an adjustment resistor that is connected in series to a signal line for input from the sensor capacitor at an input portion of the detection circuit, and which is capable of performing adjustment to cancel a difference in an interconnection resistance from a sensor capacitor on a far end side to a sensor capacitor on a near end side.

摘要： The display device includes display drivers including first and second ones operable to output, based on display data, gradation signals to source lines of display panel regions. The display device is arranged to be able to suppress the variation in output voltage between display drivers while minimizing the increases in chip area of the display drivers and in wiring area of a display panel and keeping high noise resistance. Each display driver can generate gray scale reference voltages for producing gradation signals corresponding to display data. The first display driver can sequentially transmit gray scale reference voltages generated by itself to the second display driver. Based on the transmitted gray scale reference voltages, the second display driver makes the first display driver execute calibration for decreasing the absolute value of difference between gray scale reference voltages generated by the first and second display drivers, or executes the calibration by itself.

摘要： A circuit apparatus is provided for driving source electrodes of a display panel based on image data and to control a backlight of the display panel. For example, the circuit apparatus includes a display drive (DD) circuit having a parameter generation (PG) part and an image data conversion (IDC) part. The PG part is operable to generate an image data-conversion parameter and a backlight control parameter based on a brightness distribution of the image data of one frame. The IDC part is operable to convert the image data based on the image data-conversion parameter. The DD circuit is operable to output source signals generated based on the converted image data and output, control the backlight based on the backlight control parameter, and stop an action of the parameter generation part in response to no change in the image data of one frame from image data of a preceding frame being detected.
