    • A waste heat utilization device for an air compressor includes: a discharge path of an oil free air compressor; a circulation path along which a low boiling point medium circulates; an evaporator provided on the circulation path to heat and evaporate the low boiling point medium using the potential heat of the compressed air; and a preheater provided on an upstream side of the evaporator to preheat the low boiling point medium using the potential heat of the compressed air. A scroll type expansion machine is rotated by the low boiling point medium evaporated by the evaporator and increased in pressure, and power is generated by a power generator connected to a rotary shaft of the scroll type expansion machine. The low boiling point medium discharged from the scroll type expansion machine is then cooled and condensed by a condenser.

    • A compressor capacity control method and a device is provided. The changeover from a loading state regarding the compressor to an unloading state regarding the compressor and vice versa is controlled, whereby, during a time span from a starting time point when the compressor operation state changes into an unloading state to a time point when a loading/unloading operation-cycle is finished and a predetermined time duration has passed after the starting time point, the time cycle control is performed so that the loading state is changed into the unloading state, at a time point when the predetermined time duration has passed. Further, the discharge pressure of the fluid discharged from the compressor is detected so that the loading state is changed into the unloading state in a case where the discharge pressure exceeds a prescribed upper limit pressure.

Furthermore, the electrode body itself is simplified so that it can be replaced with one touch, and it is composed of a flexible resilient material in order to prevent damage.

    • In a scroll fluid machine, a driving shaft extends axially to allow an orbiting scroll to revolve with respect to a fixed scroll thereby compressing a gas introduced from the outer circumference of the fixed scroll in a compressing chamber formed between the orbiting and fixed scrolls. From one end of the driving shaft, external air is introduced in a cooling hole extending axially of the driving shaft to cool the driving shaft. A cooling fan is rotatably secured at one end of the driving shaft to rotate by the driving shaft to cool the fixed scroll. The cooling fan comprises a base plate having a main fin on one side surface facing the side of the fixed scroll and a plurality of auxiliary fins on the other side surface to prevent cooling-finished air from invading into the cooling hole of the driving shaft.
