    • The present invention regards a sealing arrangement for a valve, comprising a valve element (3) provided with a sealing element (4), arranged to be abutting a valve seat (2) in a closed state of the valve. The valve element (3) comprises at least two parts, a first and second part (31,32), each comprising an abutting surface (310,320), which abutting surfaces (310,320) are arranged facing each other and to abut against corresponding sealing element surfaces (41,42) of the sealing element (4), and whereof at least one part (31) of the valve element (3) is being arranged to be moveable relative another part (32) of the valve element (3) and the at least one part (31) of the valve element (3) comprises a pressure surface (311) exposed to a surrounding fluid in a closed state of the valve giving pressure on the sealing element (4) responsive to the pressure in the surrounding fluid.

    • Isolation systems for use in a wellbore include two or more tubular segments and at least one coupling assembly. The at least one coupling system is adapted to couple the first and second tubular segments together. The at least one coupling system is further adapted to block at least a portion of the wellbore annulus. The at least one coupling system is further configured as a leaky isolation assembly to separate the wellbore annulus into at least two isolated zones when disposed in the wellbore. At least one isolation zone has at least two outlets including a first outlet through an opening into the tubular and a second outlet past the leaky isolation assembly. The isolation system is configured to provide the isolation with hydraulics during well operation that preferentially drives fluids through the first outlet and at least substantially prevents fluid from passing the isolation assembly.

    • A method and apparatus for a debris barrier assembly having a sleeve, an outer housing assembly coupled to the sleeve, and first and second biasing members disposed within the outer housing assembly. A support member is coupled to the sleeve and is in contact with an end of the first and second biasing members. The debris barrier assembly is coupled to a polished bore receptacle to prevent debris from entering the PBR. The debris barrier assembly is operable to compensate for a pressure differential between the internal region of the PBR and the external region of the surrounding wellbore. The debris barrier assembly and the PBR may be run in the wellbore on a work string, and the sleeve may be actuated to actuate a downhole tool connected to the sleeve to perform a downhole operation. The debris barrier assembly may be retrieved from the wellbore using the work string.

    • The invention relates to a sealing method for sealing off a leak in a casing (2) or for sealing of a production zone (1) where the casing (2) having a circumference and perforations (3) is situated in a borehole downhole, but with a distance to the inner wall of the borehole, creating an intervening space (4) there between. The sealing method comprises the steps of injecting a composition (5) for making a first circumferential seal (6) in the intervening space (4) at a first position (7) of the casing in one end of the production zone through holes situated along a first intersecting line (8) where a first plane intersects the circumference of the casing; filling the intervening space at a first position in a radial direction of the casing; injecting a composition (5) for making a second circumferential seal (9) in the intervening space (4) at a second position (10) of the casing in another end of the production zone through holes situated along a second intersecting line (11) where a second plane intersects the circumference of the casing; filling the intervening space at a second position in a radial direction of the casing; inserting a liner (12) into the casing (2) opposite the perforations (3) and extending between and at least partly covering both the first and the second circumferential seal; and expanding the liner until the liner is pressing against the casing whereby the liner together with the first and the second circumferential seal isolate the production zone. The composition is able to harden once injected into the intervening space.
