摘要： Generation of evaluation value information about a motion vector, extraction of candidates for the motion vector on the basis of the evaluation value information, and determination of the motion vector to be allocated from the candidates for the motion vector are performed. The possibility that a reference pixel a in a second frame is a candidate for a motion from a target point in a first frame is evaluated on the basis of pixel-value correlation information to generate an evaluation value table. A constant area is adaptively set around each of the target pixel and the reference pixel corresponding to each extracted candidate for the motion vector in accordance with the state of the continuity of a constant pixel value. The motion vector from the first frame to the second frame is allocated on the basis of the result of comparison between values calculated for the constant areas.

When a request for a service is made, the client device allows authentication processing by sending to the service providing apparatus an authentication response that includes the user ID together with password authentication information, a signature for a challenge sent from the service providing apparatus, or a signature for the password and the challenge, irrespective of whether the authentication method for the service is password authentication, public key authentication, or public-key-and-password combination authentication.

The image processing device includes a first image extracting section that extracts a plurality of pixels composed of a pixel of the input image corresponding to a pixel of interest in the output image and predetermined pixels surrounding the pixel of the input image. A first feature quantity calculating section calculates a first feature quantity from the plurality of pixels extracted by the first image extracting section. A second pixel extracting section extracts a plurality of pixels composed of the pixel of interest and predetermined pixels surrounding the pixel of interest from the input image. A predicting section then generates a pixel value of the pixel of interest.
