    • A fluid-filled cylindrical elastic mount having an inner sleeve and an outer sleeve, and an elastic body interposed therebetween. The elastic mount also has a primary fluid chamber adapted to undergo pressure changes upon application of a vibrational load to the mount, and a first and a second auxiliary fluid chamber partially defined by a first and a second flexible diaphragm, respectively. The second flexible diaphragm has a greater stiffness than the first flexible diaphragm. A non-compressible fluid flows between the primary and first auxiliary fluid chambers, through a first orifice passage tuned to a first frequency range, and a second orifice passage tuned to a second frequency range that is higher than the first frequency range. The fluid also flows between the primary and second auxiliary fluid chambers, through a third orifice passage tuned to a third frequency range that is higher than the second frequency range. The elastic mount further includes a valve for selectively permitting or interrupting flow of the fluid through the second orifice passage between the primary fluid chamber and the first auxiliary fluid chamber.

    • An optical pickup emits a light beam onto a recording medium and outputs, in response to a reflection from the medium, a first and a second signal for controlling focusing servo control and tracking servo control, respectively. A signal generating section generates a focus error signal and a tracking error signal in response to the first and second signals, respectively. A driving section is responsive to the output of the signal generating section for outputting a first and a second drive current assigned to focusing and tracking, respectively. An actuator moves the pickup in a focusing direction and a tracking direction by the first and second drive currents, respectively. An adjusting section detects two values close to the maximum and minimum values of the tracking error signal at the start of the focusing servo control and adjusts the gain of the second signal on the basis of a difference between the detected values. Alternatively, the offset of the second signal may be adjusted by the sum of the two detected values. Futher, the offset of the first signal may be adjusted by a focus offset occurring when the amplitude of the first and second signals appearing after the start of the focusing servo control or the amplitude of a third signal also outputted by the pickup and representative of recorded data and appearing after the start of tracking servo is close to the maximum.

    • The present invention provides a paint film which is superior in scratch resistance, weather resistance, stain resistance, chemical resistance, bending durability and impact resistance and is useful as a scratch resistant film or a decorative film.The film is obtained by cross-linking a vinyl compound copolymer with polyisocyanate, wherein the vinyl compound copolymer comprises the following monomer units: (A) a mole % of a vinyl compound which has no siloxane structure, nor hydroxyl group; (B) b mole % of a vinyl compound which has a polydimethylsiloxane structure and no hydroxyl group; (C) c mole % of a vinyl compound which has a linear or branched alkyl group having a hydroxyl group, the alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms; and (D) d mole % of a vinyl compound represented by the formula: CH2═C(R)—COO—Y wherein R is H or CH3, and Y is a saturated hydrocarbon group with a hydroxyl group at an end and, optionally, one or more lactone, carbonate, ester, ether, or urethane groups.
