The method includes receiving an instruction to concurrently fuse, into a second processing element, a stream operator of interest that is fused into a first processing element. The method includes compiling, in response to determining the stream operator of interest is stateful, a clone of the stream operator of interest into the second processing element so that the clone is synchronized with the stream operator of interest.

摘要： A streams manager monitors performance of a streaming application on a physical machine, and determines operators that are underperforming and operators that are overperforming. When the performance needs to be improved, the streams manager automatically modifies the flow graph to deploy one or more operators of the streaming application that are overperforming to a virtual machine in a cloud. Moving the overperforming operators off of the physical machine to a VM leaves additional resources for the underperforming operators that are left on the physical machine to improve performance of the streaming application.

摘要： A system, method, means, and/or computer program code may be provided to facilitate query creation and a presentation of information to a user. According to some embodiments, continuous query definition parameters are received from a user via a graphical user interface. Moreover, semantic layer information associated with an event processing engine may be retrieved, the event processing engine being adapted to receive an event stream. Based on the continuous query definition parameters, a pre-fetch query may be automatically created to pre-fetch historical data from a database. An event processing language statement may also be created based on (i) the continuous query definition parameters and (ii) the semantic layer information. The event processing language statement may be provided to the complex event processing engine so as to establish a continuous query. A response to the query may be output based on both the pre-fetched historical data and events in the event stream.

摘要： Disclosed is a system and method for extending search capabilities of contentment management systems, such as SharePoint 2013®, to enable geographic and name entity based searches. Geographic and named entity searches are enabled by a content enrichment web service. The content enrichment web service calls a geotagging or a named entity tagger web service application to tag crawled managed properties as input and return geographically or entity modified managed properties as output. The system associates one or more geographically and named entity modified managed properties with content and stores this information as metadata in a SharePoint 2013® search index. Thus, the search system allows users to identify a particular geographic entity the user is interested in finding, and to receive search results directly related to that geographic entity on SharePoint 2013®.
