摘要： A toner container of the present invention stores powdery toner to be replenished via a toner outlet thereof and includes a container body. A shutter device is positioned in the toner outlet for selectively opening or closing the toner outlet. The shutter device includes an opening/closing member, a resilient member constantly biasing the opening/closing member from the inside toward the outside of the container body, and a support member supporting the resilient member and opening/closing member. The toner container is simple and-easy to mount and dismount from an image forming apparatus while surely preventing the toner from leaking.

摘要： A powder filling method, which fills at least two kinds of powders with different specific gravities into a powder container, and by which a region having only a powder with the highest specific gravity out of the at least two kinds of powders is prevented from being generated in the filled powder container. A toner, which is a first powder that does not include a carrier having the highest specific gravity, is mixed with air in a toner storage portion. The air is introduced into the toner particles to increase the bulk of the toner, and then a toner filling device fills a toner bottle serving as the powder container with the toner having the air. Upon completion of such filling, a carrier filling device starts filling the carrier, which is a second powder, into the toner bottle. Filling of the carrier is completed before the air is released from the toner particles contained in the toner bottle and thereby the bulk of the toner is reduced and then stabilized.

摘要： Equipment and process for filling containers or toner cartridges with powder toner is provided. Equipment capable of filling with toner powder different containers that may be PET bottle, plastic containers and some type of laser jet toner cartridge is through a vacuum process by removing the existent air in a transparent acrylic chamber in which the container is which is intended to be filled with the powder. The equipment includes a reservoir of stainless steel that holds a great amount of toner powder is arranged above the vacuum chamber. A scale is disposed within the vacuum chamber upon which the container or laser jet cartridge to be filled with toner powder rests. By the activation of a vacuum, generated by a motor, the air inside the chamber is evacuated and the container that is inside the chamber, causing the toner powder to be sucked in the reservoir inside the container.
