    • According to one embodiment, an electric apparatus includes a receiving module, an expanding module, and an output module. The receiving module is configured to receive a motion picture including a first image and a second image having a parallax therebetween. The expanding module is configured to expand the first image and the second image at least in a horizontal direction. The output module is configured to output data of a third image corresponding to a first region of the expanded first image and a fourth image corresponding to a second region of the expanded second image. The first region comprises the same size as the first image and does not include a first horizontal end portion of the extended first image. The second region comprises the same size as the second image and does not include a second horizontal end portion of the extended second image.

    • Provided is a spatial image display device capable of forming spatial images having a superior reality and high definition. A spatial image display device 10A is provided with: a display section 2 including a plurality of pixels 22, and generating a two-dimensional display image corresponding to a video signal; a first lens array 1 including a plurality of first lenses 11 provided in correspondence with the respective pixels 22, and allowing light passing through the respective pixels 22 to converge; and a second lens array 3 converting the converging light, which has passed through the first lens array 1, into parallel light or converging light, and allowing the converted light to pass therethrough. The light transmitting through the respective pixels 22 in the display section 2 is directed to the second lens array 3 after being converged by the first lens array 1. Accordingly, the light entering the second lens array 3 from the respective pixels 22 behaves like light emitted from a point source, and is converted easily into the parallel light or the converting light in the second lens array 3.

    • Image display quality of a plasma display apparatus is enhanced. For this purpose, the plasma display apparatus includes a number-of-sustain-pulses corrector for controlling the number of sustain pulses to be generated. The number-of-sustain-pulses corrector includes an all-cell light-emitting rate detection circuit (46), a partial light-emitting rate detection circuit (47), and a lookup table. The number-of-sustain-pulses corrector sets a correction coefficient that is read out from the lookup table in response to an all-cell light-emitting rate and a partial light-emitting rate as a first correction coefficient, and a recorrection coefficient that is based on the first correction coefficient. The number-of-sustain-pulses corrector adjusts the first correction coefficient and the recorrection coefficient, using an adjustment gain preset for each subfield in response to the magnitude of the luminance weight. The number-of-sustain-pulses corrector corrects the number of sustain pulses, using the first correction coefficient and the recorrection coefficient adjusted with the adjustment gain.
