摘要： A system and method for remotely monitoring and transmitting optical data for an electronic display to a user. A color light sensor is placed in front of the viewable area of an electronic display and is used to measure various optical properties to determine if the display is functioning properly. The user may be notified when a display is malfunctioning. The display may store optical data locally for later retrieval by the user. The user may access the optical data through a network connection with the display. One or more displays may be placed adjacent to one another and their optical properties may be measured and balanced so that the displays match one another or can be used as a harmonious array. A watermark can be used to confirm that specific video segments were actually displayed by the electronic display.

摘要： A device for sensing a magnetic field is described. The device comprises first, second and third leads and a junction between the leads. The junction and leads are arranged in a plane and the junction is configured to exhibit quantum confinement in a direction perpendicular to the plane. The first lead is arranged on one side of the junction and the second and third leads are arranged on an opposite side of the junction. The first lead is configured to limit angle of spread of charge carriers entering the junction so that, when charge carriers flow into the junction from the first lead, the charge carriers form a substantially nondivergent beam.

摘要： A system and method for providing digital AV signal to multiple displays where the digital AV signal is displayed simultaneously and sychronized. Exemplary embodiments utilize serializers, de-serializers, and clock cleaners to transmit the data to a chain of display nodes. The display nodes convert the serial data stream into a parallel data stream. The parallel data stream is de-jittered and used to drive a display and optional audio system. The parallel data stream is then converted back into a serial data stream and sent to the next display node in the chain. A clock present in the data stream allows synchronization of all the displays in the chain. A distribution display node may be used at any display node location to increase the number of chains in the data delivery system.

When an object is to be imaged in vitro or in another situation in which the phase shifts cannot be accurately determined a priori, the images are taken, and the phase shifts are estimated a posteriori from peaks in the Fourier transforms. The technique is extended to the imaging of fluorescent and non-fluorescent objects as well as stationary and non-stationary objects.
