摘要： The present disclosure describes apparatus, systems and methods in which a first data storage is maintained for a first group of authorization codes, for example those associated with a local POS system, and second data storage, logically separate from the first data storage, is maintained for a second group of authorization codes, such as those associated with a remote or online sales system. Access control is achieved by checking a received authorization code for validity against one or both groups of authorization codes, without needing to integrate different code assignment systems or different sales systems with one another. The technology has particular utility for automated car wash systems, although it is not limited thereto, and embodiments of the technology may be retrofit to existing car wash control interfaces.

摘要： In a fossil fuel waste incineration or plasma gasification process, waste heat generated by combustion of waste is captured by a heat transfer fluid and conveyed to an Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) for energy recovery. In the case of a fossil fuel-fired waste incineration system, the heat transfer fluid captures waste heat from a double-walled combustion chamber, a heat exchanger being used to cool the hot process exhaust (gas cooler). In the case of a plasma waste gasification system, the heat transfer fluid captures waste heat from a plasma torch, a gasification chamber and combustion chamber cooling jackets as well as any other high-temperature components requiring cooling, and then a heat exchanger used to cool the hot process exhaust (gas cooler). The heat exchanger may take on several configurations, including plate or shell and tube configurations.

摘要： A remote eye examination method includes initiating a remote chat session between a local computing device coupled to a phoropter, and a remote computer, and initializing the phoropter for remote control by the remote computer. Then, a multi-colored lamp is activated in a first color until a determination that a refractory examination utilizing the phoropter has commenced. Thereafter, responsive to a determination that the examination has commenced, the multi-colored lamp changes to a second color, and movement of portions of the phoropter are commanded as directed by the remote computer, data is recorded into a patient record and a progression of the examination monitored. Finally, on condition that a threshold period of time before a conclusion of the refractory examination is detected, the multi-colored lamp changes to a third color and upon conclusion of the examination, a message transmitted to a remote account indicating access to the patient record.
