摘要： A chemiluminescent device providing multi-shape and optionally multi-color images that comprises two fluid-impermeable polymer sheets of the same shape, sealed together at their edges to provide a space for reactants, at least one of said sheets being translucent or transparent; one absorbent sheet (pad) having essentially the same shape as said fluid-impermeable sheets and placed between them in said space; reactants capable of producing chemiluminescent effect, comprising at least one chemiluminescent compound, peroxide, solvent, and optionally one or more fluorescent dye; separation means that prevents mixing said chemiluminescent compound and said peroxide before wishing to start said effect; and partition means providing that at least one of said reactants does not reach the whole volume of said space during said chemiluminescent effect. This effect is started, and said images are created, by removing said separation means.

The lighting effects generated by reaction of the chemiluminescent reagents are enhanced by the presence of particles containing a secondary fluorescer. In one embodiment, these particles may have a particular geometrical shape, e.g. a star or heart shape, and further contain a secondary fluorescer capable of being excited by the primary chemiluminescent light source so as to emit a secondary source of light which creates a glitter effect.

The container is formed with an open top and a closed bottom and a side wall between the top and bottom. The side wall has a cylindrical wall extending from a location adjacent to the top downwardly to a location adjacent to the bottom and radially exterior of the side wall and with a circular member to form a seal at the bottom of the outer wall to totally close the space between the side wall an the outer wall. An insert of a plastic material is located within the space with an inner surface in proximity to the outer surface of the side wall. A recess is formed along one vertical extent and between the insert and a side wall. A fracturable ampule is vertically oriented within the recess and contains a first chemiluminescent fluid. A second chemiluminescent fluid is positionable within the space and is adapted to be illuminated upon the fracturing of the ampule and contact with the first chemiluminescent fluid.

摘要： An illuminated toy pail includes a translucent pail body, a handle attached to the pail body, and a retainer affixed to the interior of the pail body which is effective for holding a chemical light stick within the interior of the pail body. The bottom of the retainer includes a press-fit flange which is press fit into a pre-formed hole in the bottom wall of the pail body, and the top of the retainer includes a vertical bore which releasably receives and holds the light stick in a vertical orientation within the interior of the pail. The activated chemical light sticks can be easily inserted into the pail to illuminate the pail, thereby providing both novelty and safety aspects to the pail. When used, for example, in a Halloween, pumpkin-shaped pail body, the light causes the translucent pail body to glow as if a candle were lighted inside the pumpkin, provides a small amount of light to illuminate the ground below, and provides a highly visible, lighted safety indicator for passing vehicles.

The inner container is filled with a luminescent chemical A and the outer container with another chemical B. The inner container is disposed in the outer container and then the both are placed in the case, with the outer cap sealed on said case. If the outer cap is pressed down, a pressing block of the outer container is moved down in a tube of the inner container and breaks open a film sealing the bottom of the tube, letting the inner and the outer container communicate with each other. Then if the case is shaken, the two chemicals will mix with each other to emit luminescent light.
