    • A flat, substantially square, or rectangular, insert with one or more vertical perforations, or fold lines, to facilitate folding for insertion into a soft-sided container such as a bag or a sack. The insert can include two stamped out areas for hand holds. The hand holds can be lined with handle liners for improved comfort and grip. The insert can be reusable, semi-reusable, or disposable depending on the materials used. The insert can include one or more bag retainers to further support the soft-sided container and prevent it from falling off of the insert. The insert may be sized and shaped to fit the inner dimensions of a variety of soft-sided containers for the purpose of providing the container with sufficient support to hold it in the fully open and usable position, preventing the container from collapsing during use.

    • A device to facilitate filling a reusable bag, a conventional trash bag or a receptacle. The device and bag or receptacle are used horizontally. The device comprises a funneled receiver, channel, stakes, and optionally four legs. The receiver is a scoop-like device having semi-frusto-conical cross-sections. The channel is a non-funneled extension of the receiver, having trapezoidal cross-sections. If a bag is used, the device facilitates filling the bag and it also holds open the bag. The optional four legs also hold open the body of the bag and, by contributing to the stability of the device, they allow the device to be smatter and lighter than otherwise. The device is normally placed on the ground, and inserted into either the bag or the receptacle. Leaves, grass clippings and other debris are raked or otherwise projected through the front of the receiver. The front of the receiver has a turned-over lip that facilitates fitting the bag and that also acts as a handle.

    • A lawn debris bagging system is disclosed. A temporary chute is provided to direct lawn debris or similar material toward a vented bag. The frame of the chute has an opening with a holding mechanism to hold a vented bag open and substantially on it's side, to allow the lawn debris to be blown into the bag. The vents on the bag allow the use to blow the debris into the bag without the debris being blown back out of bag by the force of the air column. In an alternate embodiment a mulcher is mounted on the opening such that the debris are blown into the mulcher and then flow into the bag from the mulcher.

    • A debris collector is provided that includes a sleeve including a top opening and a bottom opening, the sleeve being operable to be attached to a bag adjacent to the bottom opening, the sleeve defining an interior. A support structure is connected to the sleeve, the support structure consisting of at least one support element, wherein the support element is manually operable to bring the sleeve in a generally upright position that permits debris to be readily inserted into the opening. The sleeve also includes a connecting means for connecting the bag to the sleeve. The sleeve is operable to funnel debris inserted in the top opening from the interior into the bag through the bottom opening. The sleeve and the support structure cooperate to permit a user to manually operate the debris collector to achieve a collapsed position that permits debris to be collected on top of the sleeve and wherein the sleeve and the support structure permit a user to direct the debris collected on the top of the sleeve into the interior and then into the bag by lifting the sleeve. A method of collecting debris using the debris collector is also provided.

    • A device for funneling leaves into a bag, preferably used in conjunction with a leaf blower. The device includes a plurality of panels that define a passageway and two forwardly extending arms that define an intake area adjacent an entrance to the passageway. A bag is removably affixed adjacent to the exit of the passageway for receiving leaves and other objects blown therethrough. A ramp in the passageway induces circulating airflow in the bag. Additionally, the arms induce a corkscrew airflow and facilitate improved performance in directing objects through the passageway. The plurality of panels that make up the leaf catcher are preferably collapsible into a substantially flat configuration for ease of transport and storage. Further, the construction of the leaf catcher enables easy set up and take down when manipulating the panels from a folded to a operational configuration and vice versa.
