摘要： A display apparatus is constituted by a display panel having an electrode terminal, a flexible carrier carrying a drive element for driving the display panel together with an input terminal and an output terminal connected thereto, a circuit board for supplying signals to the drive element, and a support plate for supporting the display panel and the circuit board. The output terminal and the input terminal of the flexible carrier are connected to the electrode terminal of the display panel and the circuit board, respectively. The support plate is provided with a supporting member, for supporting the circuit board at a position which is farther from the display panel than a line dividing the circuit board into equal halves closer to and farther from the display panel. As a result, when the display apparatus is supplied with an impact in a direction perpendicular thereto, the circuit board is allowed to rotate so as to reduce a stress applied to the flexible carrier, thereby preventing the breakage or electrical connection failure thereof.

摘要： An improved exhaust probe arrangement within an exhaust system of a small watercraft increases the accuracy of the probe's readings. The aperture is located upstream of a point where cooling water is introduced into the exhaust system for silencing purposes. As a result, the ingress and egress of exhaust gases flow into and out of the aperture is generally unimpeded by the cooling water. The tendency of water to enter and clog the aperture is also reduced. The precision of the exhaust probe measurements consequently is greatly increased.

The frame part is connected to a circular conductive ring which is provided with the roughly square cross section and is connected to the lamp body. At least a front side of the circular conductive ring is exposed to the ambient environment. A gap is formed between the frame part and the circular conductive ring. The frame part extends more to the front than the circular conductive ring, and on the exposed surface of the circular conductive ring and on a side of the projecting part of the frame part, step-like projections are formed.

The oil reservoir for the engine is disposed in a driveshaft housing below the engine and an oil pump is driven off the lower end of the engine crankshaft for circulating the oil from the oil tank to the engine. The oil supply system for the engine includes a vertically extending main gallery and a drain passage which extend in parallel side-by-side relationship and which are disposed over the oil tank for ease of oil return. The exhaust and cooling system for the engine is configured so as to minimize heat transfer between the exhaust system and the lubricating system and to maintain a compact assembly.

摘要： A liquid crystal apparatus includes: a liquid crystal panel, an illumination means for illuminating the liquid crystal panel, a supporting means for supporting the liquid crystal panel and a housing for housing the above members. The liquid crystal panel and the supporting means are arranged so as to define an almost closed space functioning as an air damper to suppress deformation caused by an externally applied force owing to elasticity of air within the almost closed space. The supporting means includes a unit-supporting portion for supporting the illumination means, the unit-supporting portion being provided with a cutout at a part thereof for promoting discharge of heat evolved from the illumination means, and, the illumination means is supported by the unit-supporting portion so as to stop up the cutout of the unit-supporting portion, thus retaining the almost closed space. The liquid crystal apparatus is further provided with means for enhancing discharge of heat evolved by the illumination means out of the apparatus from a side opposite to the liquid crystal panel of the illumination means.
