    • There is disclosed a liquid-droplet ejecting apparatus including a cavity unit, a supply-passage forming portion, and a filter member. The cavity unit has nozzle groups each of which includes at least one nozzle from which a droplet of a liquid is ejected. At least two of the nozzle groups are differentiated from each other in the cross-sectional area of the nozzles. The supply-passage forming portion integrally includes liquid supply passages that correspond to the respective nozzle groups, and are open in a same surface of the supply-passage forming portion. The filter member integrally includes filtering portions, and is closely attached to the surface of the supply-passage forming portion such that the filtering portions respectively cover openings of the passages. Each filtering portion has pores of a cross-sectional area such that a cross-sectional area of pores in one of the filtering portions, which corresponds to a first one of the at least two nozzle groups a cross-sectional area of the nozzle belonging to which is larger than that of the nozzle belonging to a second one of the at least two nozzle groups, is larger than a cross-sectional area of pores of another filtering portion corresponding to the second nozzle group.

At least one of the first sheet member and the second sheet member has at least one inspection-related groove which is located between at least one pair of arrays of recesses of the plurality of arrays of recesses, extends along the at least one pair of arrays of recesses, and communicates with an outside space.

    • A nozzle sheet has arrays of nozzles, and additionally has two first positioning holes on opposite sides of the arrays of nozzles, respectively, that are opposite to each other in a lengthwise direction of the nozzle sheet, and two second positioning holes in respective vicinities of the two first positioning holes.     • An ink-jet printhead according to an aspect of the invention includes a cavity unit and a plate type piezoelectric actuator. The cavity unit has two rows of staggered nozzle orifices and two rows of staggered pressure chambers being in fluid communication with respective ones of the nozzle orifices. The piezoelectric actuator is a laminate of a plurality of piezoelectric sheets obtained by sintering green sheets of ferroelectric material having obtuse or rounded corners. The piezoelectric actuator is fixed onto the cavity unit to seal the pressure chambers. The piezoelectric actuator having obtuse or rounded corners are securely bonded to the cavity unit.

    • The object of the invention is to enable the appropriate change of a path according to a situation at that time of a user himself/herself and a situation of a target store and the path without having a special terminal when the user of facilities utilizes the target store and to perform appropriate guidance. To achieve the object, first, plural spatial recognition nodes respectively provided with a sensor and information processing equipment are installed in each location in the facilities and are connected via a network. The node recognizes the position, the action and the behavior of a user of the facilities, a server that controls a system manages the result of recognition and constantly grasp the situation of the user. Besides, the situation of the user is recognized by the node installed at a destination and on a path and is similarly notified to the server. The server displays appropriate path information based on the result of recognition on any of plural information displays installed in the facilities when the user approaches.

    • A cavity unit of an ink-jet printhead is formed by laminating a base plate formed with pressure chambers, a spacer plate, a manifold plate, a damper plate, a cover plate, and a nozzle plate formed with nozzles. The manifold plate is formed with a manifold chamber that penetrates through the manifold plate. The damper plate is formed with a recess on a side facing away from the manifold chamber and a damper wall left on a side facing the manifold chamber to have a partial thickness of the damper plate. The damper plate is bonded to the manifold plate on an opposite side from the base plate such that the damper wall is positioned to face the manifold chamber. The cover plate is bonded to the manifold plate to seal the recess. Because the damper plate is relatively thick while the damper wall is thin enough to absorb a pressure wave in the manifold chamber generated upon ink ejection, the damper plate is easy to handle.
