摘要： A friction fit seal provides enhanced stability and installation as compared to conventional configurations. The seal includes a seal body having a longitudinal axis; a retention rib that extends from the seal body in a lateral direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis; and at least one stabilizer rib that extends from the seal body in the lateral direction and is spaced apart from the retention rib along the longitudinal axis. A lateral width of the stabilizer rib in the lateral direction is smaller than a lateral width of the retention rib. The seal may be a keyhole seal in which the seal body includes an inner surface and an outer surface, and the inner surface defines a hollow center that may be keyhole shaped. The seal may include a solid central main body, and the stabilizer ribs and the retention rib are configured as lobes that extend in the lateral direction from the solid central main body.

The binder phase includes cobalt and nickel as constituent elements. An arbitrary surface or arbitrary cross section of the cemented carbide has: a region R1 interposed between an interface between the tungsten carbide grains and the binder phase and an imaginary line A; a region R2 interposed between the imaginary line A and an imaginary line B; and a region R3 other than the region R1 and R2. When a line analysis is performed in a range including the region R1 and the region R3 adjacent to the region R1 with the region R2, a ratio C5/C20 of a maximum atomic concentration C5 at % of cobalt in the region R1 and a maximum atomic concentration C20 at % of cobalt in the region R3 is more than 1.

The ball holder and the ball fixing screw are connected to each other so as to be strokable with a predetermined stroke amount. The predetermined stroke amount is smaller than a movement amount of the ball fixing screw between a first position corresponding to the locked position and a second position corresponding to the unlocked position.

A first liquid culture is prepared by adding bacterial cells to a sporulation broth, wherein an optical density (OD600) of the first liquid culture is in a range of 0.001 to 0.01.
