    • A vehicle floor underframe 5, which is arranged under a cab, includes: a front section 11, which is deployed on the front side of the cab and extends along the length of the vehicle; a rising section 12, which bends at the back end of the front section 11 and extends upward; a back section 13, which bends at the top end of the rising section 12 and extends towards the rear of the vehicle and is deployed under a passenger seat 7; and a buckling section 14, which is formed in the back section 13 and has stress concentration when a load from at least either the front end of the front section 11 or the back end of the back section 13 is applied in a compressing direction. The buckling section 14 is deployed under approximately the center of the passenger seat 7 along the length of the vehicle. The back section 13 bends and deforms upwards at the buckling section 14 when a load is applied from at least either the front end of the front section 11 or the back end of the back section 13 in a compressing direction.

    • A rotary steam engine of a simple constitution capable of efficiently obtaining mechanical energy not only from a heat source of a high temperature but also from various heat sources in a low-temperature state such as the exhaust heat of an internal combustion engine. The engine has a rotor 1 having a plurality of displacement chambers 11 provided in a sealed container 2 which is filled with a liquid. A steam-generating portion 4 is arranged under the rotor 1 and where the liquid vaporizes being heated by the exhaust heat of an internal combustion engine. The vaporized stem is jetted from a flow-out passage 42 toward the displacement chambers 11 of the rotor 1. The steam stays in the displacement chambers 11 and, therefore, buoyancy acts onto the displacement chambers 11 on one side of the rotor 1. The rotor 1 rotates to produce the rotational energy. The steam in the displacement chambers 11 is released in the sealed container 2 accompanying the rotation of the rotor 1, and is introduced into a condenser 3 where the steam is condensed and refluxes into the sealed container 2. The pressure in the sealed container 2 is maintained to be a saturated steam pressure by a vacuum pump 34. Therefore, the steam is formed despite the liquid has a low temperature to rotate the rotor 1.

A rear edge portion 7a of a tilt stay 7 is located between a front tire 5 and the side member 2 while the cab 1 is in a non-tilted state. The cab-side cover 10 includes a cab-side front cover portion 12, and the chassis-side cover 13 includes a chassis-side front cover portion 15. The cab-side front cover portion 12 is located at the outer side, in the vehicle-width direction, of the tilt stay 7 and extends further forward than the rear edge portion 7a of the tilt stay 7 while the cab 1 is in the non-tilted state.
