    • A skinning device for removing skin from an animal carcass has a housing, a manipulation arm extending from the housing, an cutting blade, a motor driven tooth roll mounted on the housing having plurality of tooth wheels arranged in axially spaced apart arrangement such that the space between adjacent tooth wheels has a pre-set distance. The tooth wheels have circumferentially arranged teeth projecting outwardly therefrom adapted to grab the skin with the circumferentially arranged teeth and pull it towards the cutting blade. The skinning device includes a support structure mounted on the housing arranged in proximity to the tooth roll, and is adapted to engage the skin while the skin is simultaneously being pulled off the carcass. Strippers are arranged in the space of pre-set distance and circumferentially surround at least a space portion where the arc-shaped contour essentially follows the tooth roll.

    • A magnetic knife wedge attachment for use with a knife has a spine-mounting portion carrying a permanent magnet adapted to be placed in magnetic contact on the spine of the knife blade, and a blade-mounting portion carrying another permanent magnet forming an L-shaped cross-section with the spine-mounting portion and adapted for magnetic attachment to the side surface of the knife blade. The blade-mounting portion has beveled surfaces tapering to sharp edges so as to form a wedge shape around the edges of the blade-mounting portion for forcing cut food material to tilt outward to prevent adhesion of the cut material to the knife blade. By its magnetic attachment onto two contiguous portions of the metal knife blade, the wedge device provides magnetic strength and holding forces to remain locked onto the knife blade during use for cutting food material.

One end of the support plate is terminated with the end hook. The bottom gusset extends downward from a bottom of the support plate. The finger ring extends from the bottom gusset and is located at an opposing end of the support plate. A blade groove is formed in the support plate to receive a non-cutting edge of a knife blade. A tip cavity is formed in the end hook. A tip of the knife blade is inserted into the tip cavity. A user's finger is inserted through the finger ring and a remainder of the hand is wrapped around a handle of the knife. The forefinger is used to keep the tip of the knife blade in the tip cavity.
