    • There is provided a production method that is capable of producing a high-strength fiber-reinforced resin member, wherein the desired orientation is ensured for continuous fibers forming a continuous fiber-reinforced member, as a result of which an appropriate part thereof is reinforced with a continuous fiber-reinforced member that possesses desired physical properties (tensile strength, etc.). It is a method of producing a fiber-reinforced resin member using a mold in which a cavity is defined by closing a lower mold and an upper mold, the mold comprising a groove part formed within the lower mold and that communicates with the cavity, a core slidably provided within the groove part, and a push-up means that pushes the core up, the method comprising: a first step of disposing a continuous fiber-reinforced member on the core; and a second step of charging softened or molten matrix resin into the cavity, pushing up the core with the push-up means to bury the continuous fiber-reinforced member in the matrix resin, and producing a fiber-reinforced resin member in which the continuous fiber-reinforced member is buried in cured matrix resin.

    • A method of fabricating an anti-noise earplug having an inner tip serving as a core and an outer tip coupled to the inner tip to surround the inner tip and inserted into an ear includes the steps of: (a) shaping the inner tip; (b) fixing the inner tip to an upper mold for shaping the outer tip; (c) disposing the upper mold to face a lower mold having a cavity for shaping the outer tip; (d) injecting a resin composition for forming the outer tip into the lower mold; (e) pressing down the upper mold to the lower mold; (f) curing the resin composition to couple the outer tip to the inner tip; and (g) separating the upper mold from the lower mold and then separating the earplug, in which the outer tip is coupled to the inner tip as a body, from the lower mold. In fabricating the earplug, the inner tip and the outer tip can be molded in an in-line process, thereby improving the fabrication efficiency.

    • A method and system for molding an electronic device which is located next to a molding cavity and clamped to the molding cavity during molding, comprising providing molding compound in a mold supply pot, discharging the molding compound from the mold supply pot into a runner, and distributing the molding compound through the runner into the molding cavity in order to fill the molding cavity. A movable surface comprised in the molding cavity is positioned to form a first gap between the movable surface and the electronic device when the molding cavity is being filled. After filling the molding cavity with molding compound, the movable surface is driven to form a second gap between the movable surface and the electronic device which is smaller than the first gap, thereby compressing the molding compound in the molding cavity. A molded electronic device thus produced is then separated from the molding cavity.
