    • A pressure control system of a torque control device comprises an electronic control device TCU (100), a control pressure regulating valve (110), a fixed pressure oil passage, a pressure switching valve (120) and a jointing pressure regulating valve (130).     • A hydraulic valve assembly for controlling a clutch in a vehicle transmission. The valve assembly includes a housing with a first port for connection to a source of pressurized hydraulic fluid, a displaceable sealing piston disposed within the housing, a valve spring for displacing the sealing piston, a snap-spring having first and second equilibrium positions, and an overstroke spring. In the first equilibrium position a spring force displaces the sealing piston to uncover the first port to enable fluid flow through the valve, and in the second equilibrium position the valve spring displaces the sealing piston to block the first port to block fluid flow through the valve. Moving from the first equilibrium position to the second equilibrium position includes displacing the overstroke spring.

    • Providing a hydraulic control device for a friction clutch for a vehicle, which permits the vehicular friction clutch to have an improved response of its releasing action. The hydraulic control device includes a braking valve provided in an oil passage through which a working oil is discharged from a clutch cylinder to place the friction clutch in its engaged state, and the braking valve permits the working oil to be discharged from the clutch cylinder when a pressure acting on an end portion of the braking valve on the side of the clutch cylinder has exceeded a predetermined clutch releasing pressure value, so that a discharge flow of the working oil from a pressure chamber of the clutch cylinder is restricted due to the braking valve even when the pressure in the pressure chamber is reduced below the atmospheric pressure value, whereby it is possible to prevent an increase of a gap formed between a pair of pistons of the clutch cylinder, permitting an improvement of a response of the releasing action of the friction clutch.
