摘要： A fine knitwear of circular knitting machines with air permeable holes is a single face fabric knitted via a circular knitting machine with knitting fineness ≧24 needles/inch. Each air permeable hole includes: at least one yarn located above the air permeable hole and formed via interactive movements of a Dial sinker and a plurality of latch needles perpendicular to the Dial sinker, and a first support loop and a second support loop that are formed via interactive movements of the Dial sinker and the latch needles and symmetrical against the yarn on the left side and the right side to support and tie the transferred yarn. The fine knitwear can meet market and consumers' requirements of providing more comfortable cooling, and the width of the air permeable holes can be changed flexibly in response to different requirements in the industry.

摘要： An improved skin substitute is presented comprised of a silicone layer backed up with a woven nylon fabric layer, the silicone layer possessing a regular pattern of slits that permit the porosity of the skin substitute to be adjusted by clinicians by means of applying tension to the skin substitute that differentially opens the slits. A variety of therapeutic substances can be applied to the skin substitute to promote healing, including aloe and other medicinal preparations. A layer of water soluble or water insoluble anti-scar compound is also present, the preferred compound being salinomycin.

摘要： An article of footwear with a knitted component including an upper and an integral knit ankle cuff is provided. The upper and the ankle cuff are formed as a one-piece knit element. The knit element forms a portion of an exterior surface of the upper and an opposite interior surface of the upper, with the interior surface forming a void for receiving a foot. The ankle cuff is formed of unitary knit construction with the upper as a one-piece knit element and extends above a throat area of the upper. The ankle cuff includes malleolus zones on medial and lateral sides to correspond with the ankle bones of a wearer. The knit component further incorporates features to assist with providing entry for a foot of a wear, providing comfort to a wearer, and to assist with orientation of the upper of the article of footwear when being worn.

The first needle carrier has a needle number/inch of latch-type needles corresponding to the machine gauge and the second needle carrier has transfer needles. The needle number/inch of the transfer needles is at most half that of the latch-type needles of the first needle carrier. The transfer needles form loop accumulations with at least one tuck loop per hole subsequently transferred with or without at least one knitting stitch from the transfer needles onto the latch-type needles.

It is optionally possible to gradually free a plurality of needles, by transferring the corresponding loop to a contiguous needle, and/or to vary the number of rows of knitting after which the needles freed from the related loop resume knitting, and/or to varying the stitch that is produced by these needles when knitting resumes, so as to vary the dimensions and/or shape of the holes that constitute the openwork.

The fabric is characterized by having a fine, dense background with small, closely-spaced holes which enable a highly-detailed pattern suitable for a wide range of undergarments and hosiery products. The density and fineness of the fabric provides both the comfort and lack of show through necessary for many garments of this type.
