摘要： A removable wrist device in a continuous physiological monitoring system includes a mounting fixture with a pair of rails to securely retain another device, such as a battery, a watch, or a display. The rails may be curved to secure the device against displacement during purely translational movement while conveniently conforming to the shape of a wrist. At the same time, the rails can permit movement around the axis of the wrist (where significant rotational forces are not regularly encountered) to permit convenient attachment and removal of the other device to the wrist-mounted device through a rotational, sliding motion. This configuration provides an advantageous combination of ease of use (sliding on and off in a natural motion), mounting tenacity, and comfort.

摘要： Embodiments provide physiological measurement systems, devices and methods for continuous health and fitness monitoring. A wearable strap may detect reflected light from a user's skin, where data corresponding to the reflected light is used to automatically and continually determine a heart rate of the user. The wearable strap may include a motion sensor that is used to determine a motion status of the user. Based upon the motion status of the user, the system may activate light emitters on the wearable strap to determine the heart rate of the user.

摘要： Systems for detecting when catheter electrodes enter and exit an introducer are disclosed. In one form, a system detects a relative position of a catheter (comprising a marker band and an electrode) and an introducer (comprising a proximity sensor adapted to sense the marker band), while the catheter and introducer are in a human body. The system may comprise an electronic control unit to analyze signals from the catheter and/or the introducer, to determine whether the catheter electrode is within the introducer; and to disregard data collected from the electrode when that electrode is in the introducer. The sensor may be on the catheter and the sensed element may be on the introducer. The sensed element may comprise one or several marker bands. A marker band may be applied during the manufacture of a medical device or during its use and is any element capable of electromagnetic detection.

The implanted sensor may measure the strength of an electrodynamic field received wirelessly from the reader and convey field strength data based on the measured strength of the received electrodynamic field to the reader. If the field strength data indicates that the strength of an electrodynamic field received by the sensor is sufficient for the implanted sensor to perform an analyte measurement, the reader may convey an analyte measurement command to the sensor, which may execute the analyte measurement command and convey measurement information back to the reader. The systems and methods may trigger the analyte measurement as the reader transiently passes within sufficient range/proximity to the implant (or vice versa).

摘要： A health status monitoring and reporting system comprising a user-wearable armband and a gateway device is disclosed. The armband comprises a power source, a positional sensor and/or a movement sensor, a vital signs measurement device, and a transmitter operated. The vital signs measurement device generates output signals including an indicator of a health condition of the user. The transmitter is configured to receive outputs from the accelerometer and the vital signs measuring device, and transmit signals to an ultra low power network. The gateway device transmits data from the ULP network to a Wide Area Network for processing, data storage, notifications, or the like.

摘要： A system uses continuous tracking of sleep activity and heart rate activity to evaluate heart rate variability immediately before transitioning to an awake state, e.g., at the end of the last phase of deep sleep. In particular, a wearable, continuous physiological monitoring system as described herein includes one or more sensors to detect sleep states, the transitions between sleep states, and the transitions from a sleep state to an awake state for a user. This information can be used in conjunction with continuously monitored heart rate data to calculate heart rate variability of the user at the end of the last phase of sleep preceding the user waking up. By using the history of heart rate data in conjunction with sleep activity in this manner, an accurate and consistent recovery score can be calculated based on heart rate variability.

摘要： Embodiments provide physiological measurement systems, devices and methods for continuous health and fitness monitoring. A lightweight wearable system is provided to collect various physiological data continuously from a wearer without the need for a chest strap. The system also enables monitoring of one or more physiological parameters in addition to heart rate including, but not limited to, body temperature, heart rate variability, motion, sleep, stress, fitness level, recovery level, effect of a workout routine on health, caloric expenditure. Embodiments also include computer-executable instructions that, when executed, enable automatic interpretation of one or more physiological parameters to assess the cardiovascular intensity experienced by a user (embodied in an intensity score or indicator) and the user's recovery after physical exertion (embodied in a recovery score). These indicators or scores may be displayed to assist a user in managing the user's health and exercise regimen.

A processor may be powered down for a predetermined time interval in response to determining that the electronic patch is not in close proximity to a body. The electronic sensor patch may be activated in response to determining that the electronic patch is in close proximity to the body. The capacitance sensor may be used to determine whether the electronic sensor patch is in close proximity to a body by measuring capacitance of the capacitance sensor, comparing the measured capacitance to a threshold, and determining that the electronic sensor patch is in close proximity to a body in response to the measured capacitance of the capacitance sensor being more than the threshold.

摘要： An optical sensing apparatus includes a sensing unit, an analog/digital conversion unit, a switching unit, a first processing unit, and a second processing unit. The sensing unit provides a light sensing signal. The analog/digital conversion unit is coupled to sensing unit and converts light sensing signal into a digital light sensing signal. The switching unit is coupled to analog/digital conversion unit and selectively switched to a first mode or a second mode according to a mode control signal. The first processing unit and second processing unit are coupled to analog/digital conversion unit and switching unit. When switching unit is switched to first mode according to mode control signal, first processing unit generates a photoplethysmography (PPG) signal according to digital light sensing signal; when switching unit is switched to second mode according to mode control signal, second processing unit generates a proximity sensing signal according to digital light sensing signal.
