摘要： An electrical connector (100) includes an insulative housing (1) having a base portion (11), and a pair of extending portions (114) extending backwardly from the base portion and spaced apart from each other along a transverse direction to form a receiving space (1143) therebetween, each extending portion defining a first slot (1142) communicating with the receiving space and a first block (1144) located at an inner side of the first slot; a plurality of electrical contacts (2) retained in the insulative housing and passing through the receiving space; and a spacer (6) attached to the insulative housing for retaining the electrical contacts, the spacer having a pair of second slots (65) for receiving the first blocks and a pair of second blocks (66) located at outer sides of the corresponding second slots (65) for being retained in the first slots (1142).

The insulative housing includes a mating tongue and the first metal shell includes a plurality of peripheral walls enclosing the mating tongue to cooperatively form a mating opening therebetween. The grounding piece includes a number of side walls and a receiving opening through which the peripheral walls extend. The side walls include a number of half-spherical embosses stamped therefrom to abut against the front metal shell for EMI protection.

摘要： An audio jack connector includes an insulative housing and a conductive contact retained in the insulative housing. The insulative housing defines a plug receiving hole for receiving a mating plug and a mounting space located at one side of the plug receiving hole. The conductive contact has a stationary portion received in the mounting space, a spring arm forwardly extending from the stationary portion and a curly contact portion extending backwardly from the spring arm and protruding into the plug receiving hole. The curly contact portion includes opposite first and second ends in condition that the first end connects with the spring arm and the second end abuts against an inner surface of the spring arm.

摘要： An electrical connector includes an insulative housing (2) having a base portion (20) with a front face (200) and a rear face (204), and a protection portion (22) extending backwardly from the rear face (204). The protection portion (22) defines a receiving cavity (222) opening at a rear end thereof. The base portion (20) defines a plurality of passageways (201) extending therethrough and communicating with the receiving cavity (222). A plurality of power contacts (3) are retained on the insulative housing (2). Each power contact (3) has a securing portion (300, 310) positioned in the passageway (201), a columned contact portion (301, 311) and a bending portion (302, 312) extending from two ends of the securing portion (300, 310) respectively. The bending portion (302, 312) is received in the receiving cavity (222) for dissipating heat best. A metal shield (4) has a flat portion (40) affixed to the front face (200) and a mating portion (41) extending forwardly from the flat portion (40). The mating portion (41) defines a D-shape mating hole (42) for receiving a mating connector.
