摘要： The present invention relates to a low-odor thermoplastic resin composition. In particular the resin of the resin composition is prepared by a new bulk polymerization process that is used to reduce the characteristic chemical odor in new cars. The resin minimizes the use of the resin prepared by the conventional emulsion polymerization process, N-substituted maleimide and α-alkylstyrene-based heat-resistant materials which are used to improve heat resistance and the molecular weight of the matrix of the thermoplastic composition. The resin is also improves impact strength, thereby having reduced characteristic chemical odor, while having superior impact strength and heat resistance.

摘要： Provided is a low-complexity and low-power-consumption turbo decoder with a variable scaling factor. The performance of the turbo decoder is enhanced by evaluating a decoding convergence degree of the turbo decoder using a sign difference ratio (SDR) value, limiting the iterative-decoding number, and calculating and applying a variable scaling factor producing optimal performance in each decoding convergence area based on the SDR value, and power consumption is reduced by reducing the average number of decoding iterations. Thus, the performance degradation when the encoded block is large, which is a shortcoming of a conventional EMLMAP algorithm, can be prevented, the average number of decoding iterations can be reduced, and accordingly power consumption can be reduced.

摘要： A DTV receiver includes a tuner, a demodulator, a known sequence detector, and a frequency domain equalizer. The tuner initially receives a broadcast signal including valid data in which a known data sequence is periodically repeated. The demodulator demodulates the broadcast signal, and the known sequence detector detects the known data sequence from the demodulated signal. The frequency domain equalizer compensates channel distortion of the demodulated broadcast signal in a frequency domain using the detected known data sequence. In addition, the DTV receiver may further include a time domain equalizer which compensates channel distortion of the time domain signal, or a noise canceller which removes a predicted noise from the time domain signal.

According to the present invention, an optical interface unit is installed in a portable device supporting character input and a character is input by moving a pointer via sensing the movement of an object in contact with the optical interface unit, thereby providing a character input method for a portable device and the portable device, which embody an optimized character input type maximizing convenience of users.
