摘要： The combination of: a) an underground valve for a supply line and having an underground actuator through which the state of the valve can be changed to control flow within the supply line; and b) a conduit assembly embedded in ground material and defining an access passage through which above ground access can be obtained to the valve actuator. The conduit assembly has a cap that can be selectively changed between: a) a first state wherein the cap blocks the entry opening; and b) a second state wherein above ground access can be gained to the valve actuator. The conduit assembly has an upper conduit part and a lower conduit part. The upper and lower conduit parts are interconnected and configured so that they move axially guidingly against and relative to each other so as to vary an effective combined axial length of the upper and lower conduit parts in response to forces generated by the ground material.

摘要： A shower head valve may be alternated between a high flow configuration to a low flow configuration. A valve body in the invention has a flow inlet, a flow outlet, and a communication portion formed between the flow inlet and the flow outlet. A ball is disposed within the communication portion of the valve body, where the ball is an oblong spheroid having a first axis and a second axis, with the first axis perpendicular to the second axis. The ball has a first passage axially aligned with the first axis and a second passage axially aligned with the second axis. The ball is positionable from a first position in which the first passage is in alignment with the flow inlet and the flow outlet, to a second position in which the second passage is in alignment with the flow inlet and the flow outlet. The liquid volume which may pass through the valve body over a given time when the ball is in the first position is at least twice as large as the volume which may pass through the valve body for the same time when the ball is in the second position.

The conduit assembly has an axial length and defines an access passage through which above ground access can be obtained to an underground valve actuator. The method includes the steps of: removing a portion of the length of the conduit assembly to expose an upper edge defined by a remaining portion of the conduit assembly; providing a repair assembly with a conduit piece having an entry opening; engaging the conduit piece and the remaining portion of the conduit assembly; moving the conduit piece guidingly in an axial direction against the remaining portion of the conduit assembly to thereby situate the entry opening at a desired axial location; and placing a cap on the conduit piece to thereby block the entry opening.

摘要： A hands-free faucet control device includes a water valve assembly, a foot peddle assembly and a pull wire connected there between. A continuously-formed injection molded valve housing includes two cylindrically-shaped apertures disposed adjacent to one another where each has an inlet water port and an outlet water port. A valve is disposed in each of the apertures, where both valves are simultaneously movable between a closed position and an open position. A foot pedal assembly includes a foot peddle bracket and an attached foot pedal, where the foot pedal is movable between an up position and a down position. A pull wire is connected at a pull wire first end to the proximal end of the valve and connected at a pull wire second end to the foot pedal, wherein movement of the foot pedal to the down position by a user moves the valves to the open position.

摘要： The present invention discloses an intermediate bulk container (IBC) and a valve opening/closing device therefor. The container comprises a base, side plates, and a valve installed at the bottom of the container. The valve opening/closing device comprises a handle, a motion-transferring device and a valve opening/closing mechanism. The handle is installed at the side plate and is connected with the motion-transferring device. The motion-transferring device is at least partially located in the cavity between two sidewalls of the side plate of the container or at least partially located in the groove provided on the side plate, and is used to transfer the actions acting on the handle to the valve opening/closing mechanism to open/close the valve. According to the valve opening/closing device of the present invention, the operating handle is provided at an appropriate position of the side plate of the container, and the motion-transferring device is located between two sidewalls of the side plate or located in the groove provided on the side plate, thereby avoiding bending over or squatting on the ground while opening/closing. Further, the overall volume ratio will not be affected, and the folding level will not be increased when the folding the intermediate bulk container.
