The electronically controlled clutch restricts a rotation speed difference in response to engaging between the first and second clutch plates.

摘要： In at least some implementations, a system for a vehicle differential having multiple gears includes a coil of wire, a drive member movable in response to a magnetic field generated by application of electricity to the coil between a first position and a second position, and a lock member coupled to the drive member for movement with the drive member throughout a range of movement of the drive member. The lock member is adapted to engage a gear of the differential when the drive member is in the second position and the lock member is adapted to be disengaged from the gear when the drive member is in the first position. In this way, the differential may be selectively locked.

The motor is configured to pump fluid into an accumulator chamber of the accumulator housing. The clutch assembly receives fluid from the hydraulic control unit. The clutch assembly has a clutch pack positioned between a clutch piston and a portion of a clutch basket. The clutch assembly is operable to selectively interlock the sleeve and the support shaft. The case supports the electronic limited slip coupling as an assembled unit.

摘要： A differential device includes: a differential case on which a meshed portion is formed; a tubular slide member that has a meshing portion; a differential gear mechanism disposed inside the slide member; a pinion gear shaft that supports pinion gears of the differential gear mechanism; and an actuator that moves the slide member in the axial direction. The slide member has a cylindrical portion, on one side of which in the axial direction the meshing portion is formed, and a long hole that extends in the axial direction of the cylindrical portion and that opens toward the other side in the axial direction, which is the opposite side from the meshing portion. The pinion gear shaft is fitted with the long hole, and supported by the slide member. A reinforcing ring that suppresses deformation of the slide member is attached to an end portion of the cylindrical portion in which the long hole opens.
