    • A foldable keyboard stand is formed of a pair of elongated leg tubes that are pivotally connected together to form an X-shape which is arranged in an upright position. Horizontally arranged, parallel tubes are secured to the upper and lower ends of the leg tubes to form upper support and lower foot tubes. The support and foot tubes are arranged off-center relative to the axis of the leg tubes so that they extend forwardly, towards a user location, a considerably greater distance than they extend rearwardly. A resilient, foam plastic sleeve is placed upon and substantially covers each of the upper, support tubes opposite extension portions. A resilient, ring-like collar, which is higher than the support upper surfaces, are positioned upon the opposite ends of the support tubes so that a generally flat keyboard may be rested upon the sleeve covered support tubes and laterally restrained between the end collars. An adjustable length brace interconnects the leg tubes so that the angularity of the leg tubes can be adjusted by selectively adjusting the length of the brace for raising and lowering the support tubes in order to locate the keyboard in pre-selected user standing and sitting positions.

    • An adaptable frame, for mounting of equipments, keyboards, displays, accessories, printed material, and other paraphernalia is disclosed. The frame contains supports having uprights and braces to which are connected crossbars. Either brackets or a shelf for holding equipment and material may be mounted on each crossbar to suit the needs of the user. The frame can easily and rapidly disassembled and assembled without tools. It disassembles into a few parts, i.e. two uprights, two braces, the crossbars with attached brackets, and shelves, for ease of transportation, handling and storage. The shelves are longitudinally hinged so that they may be folded for greater ease in handling when the frame is disassembled. The number and positioning of crossbars, brackets and shelves can be varied to meet the needs of the user. A compartmentalized carrying bag may be supplied for ease of storage and transportation.

    • An adjustable and collapsible triangulated tension support structure having a generally H-shaped planar configuration. Two vertical members are connected to a horizontal compression member and flexible diagonally crossed tension members extend from one vertical member to the other below the compression member. An adjustable tension member is connected to both vertical members at points located above the horizontal compression member so that tensioning of the adjustable tensioning member spreads apart the portion of the vertical member located below the horizontal compression member thereby putting the diagonally crossed tensioning member under tension. At least one horizontal shelf bracket is connected to and extends outwardly from the upper portion of each vertical member to define a supporting surface for electronic apparatus. The structure can be collapsed for transportation by moving the vertical members together in an adjacent configuration.

    • A musical instrument support, having an improved slide for adjusting the length of the support and an improved clasp for engaging a musical instrument to be supported is disclosed. The slide is approximately circular in shape and is constructed in a manner to reduce the wearing of a cord which passes through the slide. This is accomplished by utilizing a sleeve which has a lower coefficient of friction than the material from which the slide is made. The cord forms two annular loops around the sleeve. The friction between the annular loops and the sleeve is sufficient to maintain the support at a given length. The clasp is constructed in a manner which reduces the number of moving parts needed to engage and disengage the musical instrument over the prior art thereby simplifying the manufacturing process. In particular, means are provided for disengaging the musical instrument from the clasp, which means comprises only a spring, two retractable jaws and a plunger having an end of predetermined extent which a support ring on the instrument may bear against, thereby compressing the spring and retracting the jaws.
