摘要： Systems and techniques for employing perceptual characteristic similarity for item replacement in media content are presented. The system can include an identification component, a matching component and a replacement component. The identification component identifies at least a portion of an item in a media file. The matching component determines a replacement item from a set of candidate items based on a comparison between perceptual characteristics associated with the item and corresponding perceptual characteristics associated with the set of candidate items. The replacement component replaces the item in the media file with at least a portion of the replacement item.

A plurality of electronic records of the data set are received, wherein the electronic records are a result of the data mining. A plurality of ontologies is generated based on the electronic records and a subset of the plurality of ontologies is displayed on a user device. A user input is recorded as a user record and the set of ontologies that is displayed is modified. A second subset of ontologies for display on the user's device is generated, based on the modified popularity value. A modified display value based on the modified popularity value is determined and the second subset of ontologies is displayed based on the modified display value.

摘要： A method of classifying content items utilizes user-generated playlists. A content item is included in playlists from a plurality of distinct users. A server system receives, from respective users of the plurality of distinct users, respective playlist titles for the playlists. In accordance with a determination that the respective playlist titles from a threshold number of the plurality of distinct users specify a first attribute, the server system assigns the first attribute to the content item. The server system receives a request, from a first user via an application that is executing on a client device that is distinct from the server system, for content having the first attribute. In response to receiving the request, the server system selects the content item according to the first attribute and delivers the selected content item for playback to the first user.

The method may further include assigning a ranking to the at least one audio file within the plurality of audio files based on the received at least one user evaluation associated with the at least one audio file, wherein the assigned ranking is from a lowest ranking to a highest ranking. The method may also include adding the assigned highest ranking audio file into the audio dictionary.

摘要： A method for matching a query against a broadcast stream includes receiving one or more broadcast streams, from which it generates and stores an audio fingerprint of a selected portion of each received broadcast stream. A query is received from which the method generates an audio fingerprint. From that point, the method continues by identifying audio content from the query, using the query audio fingerprint and a database of indexed audio content. The method concludes by identifying the source of the query using the query audio fingerprint and the stored audio fingerprints. Embodiments of the method further include predictively caching audio fingerprint sequences and corresponding audio item identifiers from a server after storing audio fingerprints extracted from the broadcast stream; and using the predictively cached audio fingerprint sequences to identify an audio item within the audio signal based on at least some additional audio fingerprints of the audio signal.
