摘要： Disclosed is a system and method for extending search capabilities of contentment management systems, such as SharePoint 2013®, to enable geographic and name entity based searches. Geographic and named entity searches are enabled by a content enrichment web service. The content enrichment web service calls a geotagging or a named entity tagger web service application to tag crawled managed properties as input and return geographically or entity modified managed properties as output. The system associates one or more geographically and named entity modified managed properties with content and stores this information as metadata in a SharePoint 2013® search index. Thus, the search system allows users to identify a particular geographic entity the user is interested in finding, and to receive search results directly related to that geographic entity on SharePoint 2013®.

Each part of a data structure corresponding to a record field having a sort priority immediately below another record field corresponds to a distinct value inserted into a part of the data structure corresponding to the other record field. The system processes the generated data structures to determine sorted data records. Embodiments of the present invention further include a method and computer program product for sorting data records in substantially the same manners described above.

Each processing element may have one or more stream operators. A first stream operator may be identified as one that only processes an instance of a first attribute in a currently received tuple when a difference between an instance of the first attribute in a previously received tuple and the instance of the first attribute in the currently received tuple is outside of a difference threshold. A second stream operator may generate a difference attribute from a first instance of the first attribute in a first one of the received tuples and a second instance of the first attribute in a second one of the received tuples. The difference attribute may be transmitted from the second stream operator to the first stream operator.

摘要： Profile data for streaming operators is collected and classified according to the function and relationship of operators, and split rules are constructed for the operators. A streams manager monitors performance of a streaming application, and when the performance needs to be improved, the streams manager determines from the split rules how to split the flow graph for the streaming application. The streams manager requests virtual machines from a cloud manager. In response, the cloud manager provisions one or more virtual machines in a cloud. The streams manager then modifies the flow graph so a portion of the flow graph is deployed to the one or more virtual machines in the cloud. In this manner a streaming application can dynamically evolve to increase its performance as needed.

摘要： A method of indicating bit stream subsets in a video bit stream (210) is provided. The method comprises receiving the bit stream, dividing the bit stream into video packets (211-216), wherein each packet comprises either one of video data or supplemental information, and marking each packet with a single subset identifier (stream_id). Each subset identifier is associated with a corresponding bit stream subset (221-223). Further, a method of extracting video packets from a video bit stream is provided. The method comprises providing relevant subset identifiers, receiving video packets from the bit stream, and, for each received packet, inspecting the subset identifier of the packet. The packet is extracted if the subset identifier matches one of the relevant subset identifiers. This allows condensing properties of a bit stream subset into a single identifier, thereby simplifying the processing of video packets in the network and on the client side. Further, devices corresponding to the aforementioned methods are provided.
